Part Deux Of THE Photo Shoot!

So this time last week I took the plunge & put my face out there & surprise surprise the world didn't stop spinning & I'm still breathing!!  I'd like to thank all of you who have sent words of support & encouragement, they really do mean the world to me & whilst I'm not wanting to tempt fate I thought today I'd share more of the piccies from my photo shoot with Gemini-Woman, which showcases just a small fraction of their amazing collection of clothing.

And without further a do let's get started with outfit one.  In my eyes you can never go wrong with camel/beige tones & denim so when Donna showed me the first outfit I just knew it had my name written all over it.  The jumper is absolutely divine, has the most gorgeous silk back & the outfit looks fantastic when teamed with the gorgeous Hobbs tweed blazer not to mention these stunning ankle boots.

Style One

Jacket - Gemini-Woman
Scarf - Gemini-Woman
Jumper - Gemini-Woman
Jeans - Gemini-Woman
Boots - Gemini-Woman

Now we all know that I can't say no to a jacket & Donna certainly put plenty of temptation in my way  & this gorgeous Sandwich leather jacket is no exception, not only does it fall beautifully but it was just so soft & the drape of it looked perfect with the Great Plains dress.  Perfect for date night or a night out with the girls but would look equally stunning teamed with a scarf & some biker boots to make a great alternative to jeans for a daytime look too.

Style Two

Jacket - Gemini-Woman
Dress - Gemini-Woman
Clutch - Gemini-Woman
Shoe Boots - Gemini-Woman

Next up is this animal print dress from Great Plains, which is quite simply stunning.  Of course being animal print I was always going to love it but I can't tell you how comfy it was to wear (I could have almost have forgotten I was wearing it if I hadn't of course being in the middle of a photo shoot!!!).  I think this would make the most amazing dress for Christmas Day....totally stunning with lovely ruched detailing on the hip & being so soft & comfortable to wear perfect for that large Christmas lunch & falling asleep in front of the fire (of course that might just be me ;-) ) & the shoe boots were super comfy too, even I couldn't fall over in these babies!

Style Three

Dress - Gemini-Woman
Necklace - Gemini-Woman
Shoe Boots - Gemini-Woman

Of course you can never go wrong with some slim fitted trousers, so easy to dress up or down that they're sure to get a great deal of wear & this pair from Sandwich Clothing are no exception, I adore the detailing.  They look simply stunning teamed with this gorgeous Great Plains Top, which has the most amazing embroidery detailing on the shoulders & back.

Style Four

Necklace - Gemini-Woman
Top - Gemini-Woman
Trousers - Gemini-Woman
Shoe Boots - Gemini-Woman

Now I've mentioned how Donna was putting serious temptation in my way throughout the photo shoot & this stunning Sandwich tweed blazer & sequinned top were no exception.  Two items that are so useful for any wardrobe, stunning for a night out, let alone Christmas but equally stunning worn as separates & dressed down for daywear too.

Style Five

Jacket - Gemini-Woman
Jeans - Gemini-Woman
Bag - Gemini-Woman
Boots - Gemini-Woman

Sandwich have some amazing pieces in their current collection & this jacket & coated skinnies are real beauties.  You can never go wrong with some coated trousers & a Chanel styled jacket, throw on a simple plain top & a statement necklace & you're good to go for any occasion.

Style Six

Jacket - Gemini-Woman
Necklace - Gemini-Woman
Top - Gemini-Woman
Jeans - Gemini-Woman
Boots - Gemini-Woman

Something I've been meaning to give a whirl is a kimono style jacket so when Donna showed me outfit seven & this amazing Masai kimono styled jacket I couldn't wait to try it on.  I absolutely love the bright colours & what better colour to wear over the festive season than red.

Style Seven

Kimono - Gemini-Woman
Top - Gemini-Woman
Necklace - Gemini-Woman
Jeans - Gemini-Woman
Boots - Gemini-Woman

For the final outfit Donna dressed me in this amazing Great Plains animal print top.  Now no prizes for guessing that I love it but the fact that it has the most amazing gathering over the tummy area makes it not only super stylish but also extremely flattering too, especially for those of us that are slightly self conscious of our mummy tummies.

Style Eight

Top - Gemini-Woman
Jeans - Gemini-Woman
Bag - Gemini-Woman
Boots - Gemini-Woman

The final picture is the same as outfit five & was taken when I was having my interview for Gemini's blog, not an easy thing to do when you know your picture is being taken at the same time but Drew has managed to catch me at my most relaxed & unaware.

Style Nine

Jacket - Gemini-Woman
Top - Gemini-Woman
Trousers - Gemini-Woman

So there you have the second instalment of my photo shoot, just a couple of piccies remaining, which I'll share with you in a couple of weeks, I think that's more than enough piccies of my mug for the time being!!  But you should definitely check out Gemini-Woman's online collection as they have some wonderful clothing not to mention jewellery, shoes & accessories, which would make great Crimbo pressies if hubby is looking for inspiration or indeed needs pushing in the right direction.  You'll have to let me know what's caught your eye & if anything in particular is making it onto your Santa list provided of course you've made it onto Santa's good list that is ;-)

In the meantime enjoy the rest of your weekend & see you in a few days when I'll be back with my winter coat selection.

  8. I love your final picture - the one where you are at your most relaxed. Infact I'm so impressed that you pose so well - you're a natural at this. I can't look a camera in the eye without smirking - ask my hubs and when I had my pic taken by some of the bloggy girls, I was all over the place. I think they despaired of me. You've done Gemini woman proud with these shots.

    1. Gosh thanks Sue, such lovely words....I'm usually a nightmare in front of a camera, my sister despairs of me as generally I have a tendency to blink in every picture!!! Thank goodness there was a professional taking the photos as goodness knows what I'd have looked like!!! xx

    1. Thanks Helen, I didn't know they used to have a shop in Worcester, I know they used to have shops in Banbury & Leamington Spa before concentrating on Stratford-upon-Avon where they've now also got a shoe shop as well. Hope it brought back happy memories xx
