Casual Neutrals - Steal My Style

Anyone else ready for the weekend to start?!!! I seem to have been on one long mission to get a whole heap of jobs completed this weekend & whilst a successful mission I have woken up shattered & aching from a full on day in the garden.  Why is it that no matter what exercise you do that first major gardening spell in Spring always results in backache & general aches & pains where you didn't know or think you could ache?!!!!  Of course it could just be me, or even the on set of old age creeping in but I like to think (hope) it's affects even the youths on the streets too!!!

So back to the working week & the continuation of the glorious sunshine, isn't it wonderful, I'm just hoping that the headline I saw yesterday announcing we're in for a glorious hot summer is true :-)  So I'm keeping things pretty casual today & have gone for a neutral, dressed down theme with a splash of Bet!

Trench - Massimo Dutti
Silk Shirt - Zara
Necklaces - Handmade
Bracelets - Gemini-Woman & Ashiana
Distressed Jeans - Zara
Leopard Print Ballet Pumps - Mint Velvet

And here's my take on today's look, if you fancy stealing my style.

Casual Neutrals

Shirt - Next
Necklace - Gemini-Woman
Bracelets - Gemini-Woman & Gemini-Woman
Jeans - ASOS
Mac - Zara
Ballet Pumps - Dune

So what do you think are you a neutral kind of girl?  And are you like me & loving being able to just sling on a simple top without the need for layers & wear all your wonderful jackets again?  I think this has to be one of my favourite seasons.....the thought of summer still to come & the weather not too hot or too cold to wear a jacket....perfect!

Have a great Monday & see you tomorrow.

  1. Hi Jane, I think the dune flats have my name on them. I have also decided my life will not be complete until I have a logo sweatshirt! Enjoying your daily posts.

    1. Hi Sue, I love the shape of the Dune flats & if I was in the market for some more leopard print ballet pumps I'd be joining you in clicking the button. I can't wait to seeing which logo sweatshirt ends up in your wardrobe.

  2. Your look is total perfection Jane. The sun has certainly lifted my spirits but I really struggled with the heat last summer and I hope it isn't too hot on my daughters wedding day! x
