New Outfit Post - Chambray & Leopard

Fancied wearing my old faithful chambray shirt today - a great wardrobe classic that I've had a good many years but just never dates.  Fab for teaming with denim, black, navy, tan & white - I can't wait to wear it with my white jeans in the warmer months but for today I've added a splash of yellow & of course my beloved leopard print!

Shirt - Massimo Dutti
Necklace - Brought in Majorca
Belt - Banana Republic
Jeans - Zara
Shoes - Next

So what do you think?  Do you have a chambray shirt lurking in your wardrobe or perhaps you don't see the different between this & a denim shirt?  I must admit I sort of had my doubts at first but I'd really miss having one in my wardrobe now.

What about you is there something in your wardrobe that you've had for years but still love wearing? If so I'd love to know what.

Have a great Monday the sun is shining & only three more working days :-)  I could soooo get used to this!!!!

  1. I have a dark blue chambray shirt I bought from Baukjen last spring and I love how chambray is so much more comfortable than denim. Love the yellow and leopard print additions to your outfit Jane. Funny how I used to be the blogging leopard print Queen years ago and you have certainly stolen that crown, I still love it but haven't bought anything in a while xx

    1. I fear my leopard print love is far becoming an addiction Sharron!!! And yes I totally agree with you that chambray is more comfortable & also cooler for warmer months to wear than denim.

Glad you like the grey bow from the other day too, at least I'm no longer alone in the playground ;-)

  6. I'm off to add that shirt to my wish list!! I'm catching up on your posts - that grey bow is ace! One for me and one for a friend who is so hard to buy for, I'm sure she will love it... So thanks for the inspiration. As for your question about faithful garments I have a velvet jacket from m&s it was about £100 20 years ago. I still love it and wear it.

    1. Hi AM yeah another person loving the grey bow :-) Hope your friend likes it too!
It's great when you have a item of clothing that you can bring out each season & when you think of the cost per wear even better :-) Your velvet jacket sounds fab, another wardrobe classic. I've eyed up a few velvet jackets over the years but never brought one although I'd love a nice navy one....may have to start autumn's wish list early I think!!!
