OOTD - Lazy Lunch Pour Deux

Well I still haven't cracked this sleeping in on a Saturday malarky......lying in bed browsing the internet & perhaps partaking in a spot of online shopping - well I'd go straight to the top of the class!!! Still it's quite nice having the luxury of surfing the net undisturbed & not having to watch the time, even if it is 5 o'clock in the morning & the brightness on my iPad is turned on low so as not to wake hubby!

A day of running errands this morning including partaking in our free cake & tea from John Lewis (oh the glamour!!! seriously who knew midlife could be such fun!!!).  Then seeing as our son has 8 hours of karate to keep him occupied (helping train lower belts, lesson then training for his 2nd Dan in his black belt) the afternoon will involve a lazy lunch pour deux at the village pub & maybe a sneaky forty winks too!

So here's what I've decided to wear.

Top - Zara
Bag - Boden
Bracelets - J Crew & J Crew
Jeans - Zara
Shoes - Zara

How to re-create my outfit.

Navy & Gold

Jacket - Warehouse £45
Top - Zara £29.99
Bag - Boden £66
Bracelets - J Crew £95 & J Crew £95
Jeans - Next £32
Shoes - Zara £49.99

So what have you got planned for your Saturday?  Errands & shopping or time catching up with friends or maybe even joy of joys the housework & admin that seems to have piled up since last weekend?  I'd love to hear what you're up to & what you think of today's outfit.

Have a great Saturday.

    1. Oh lucky you Lynne....whilst I hate packing (trying to remember everything you need & want to take) there's nothing like the excitement of knowing you're going away. Have a fab holiday & hope you're going somewhere sunny & hot.

  2. lovely outfit and super for your day ahead. My day, up to now, consists of making butternut squash and sweetcorn soup and a blackcurrant compote. Later watching the grand national and a party this evening. Just sorted out my outfit for that which, as the weather is rainy and chilly, will be trousers not a dress.

    1. Hi, I love butternut squash but have never made it with sweetcorn before, that sounds yummy not to mention your blackcurrant compote. Have a fab time tonight & hope your house came in on the Grand National ;-)

  3. what size do you think the 12 in the jacket would be - compared to M and S for example?

    1. I would say Banana Republic are probably around the same sizing as Marks. Looking at their size guide it says a 12 is for a 36" bust if this helps. They've also now got size 8 back in stock too plus various sizes in the petite version. Plus they offer free returns so if you really like the jacket it might be worth taking a chance or even keep checking to see if they get any more in stock.
