WIWT - One Of My Favourite Shades Of Blue!

Love, love, love this shade of blue & having had to chuck out my long sleeved t-shirt in this colour due to bobbling in my major wardrobe culling it meant that I had room in my wardrobe for this great shirt from Zara.  Such a warm shade of blue that looks absolutely fab teamed with black, grey, white & of course denim.  Have teamed it with black today & softened the look by teaming a simple white vest t-shirt underneath.

Shirt - Zara
Top - H&M
Necklace - Handmade
Jeans - Zara
Shoes - Zara

So do you love this colour too or have you yet to purchase anything in this shade?  I'd love to hear your thoughts not to mention how you wear yours.

Have a fab day.

    1. It's a gorgeous shade isn't it Sue. I'm still on the hunt for the perfect pair of cobalt heels...not too high & not too low....one day they will be mine ;-)

  3. You inspired me to buy a top this colour only earlier this month...not a huge purchase but a £10 top from H&M well in fact it only cost £7.50 as I had a discount card! result! I was looking on the net for pics of gladiator sandals and spotted you in your blue top and gladiators (an old post..but I loved the look). Is that the same top you have just mentioned that was culled :(
I'm still a new follower so I need to check do we all have to disclose everything we buy in a month or is it just you that has to fess up... as I have had quite a spree so far and its only the 15th! (only kidding I'm sure you wouldn't do that to us!)

  5. I almost culled a H&M top in this colour today! I saved it at the last moment because it is such a great colour, my top was just a boxy t-shirt! Now I've seen this on you Jane I am so glad I had a last minute change of heart! I forgot how much I love cobalt.....it looks so great with black too, which is good since I seem to have purchased rather a lot of black this month!! xx

    1. Ooh that was lucky Michelle. There are so many times I've nearly got rid of something & then quickly grabbed it out the bag before it was too late. Loving all your new black purchases.

  7. I culled a shirt last year - arrghh. And a dress! Well I put them both through a dye experiment and both didn't come out too well so I'm two down. I guess like you, that means I have a blue gap to fill then?

Love the blouse on you - from your photos, it is what I call an iris blue - rich blue with a hint of purple. It really suits you.

    1. Yes Sue you definitely have a blue hole to fill ;-)
I'd describe the shirt as cobalt blue but yes I suppose Iris blue is very similar too although the lighting may be distorting the colour slightly on my photo.

  8. I have this same blouse. Love the weight of it. Not to flimsy. The arms are very long aren't they? I do love it though. Nice with the white vest under it, hadn't thought that would look as well as it does.

    1. Hi thanks for commenting & yes I'd definitely agree with the weight of the material being just right! The sleeves are slightly longer than normal aren't they, although I'll be loving this in the cooler months ;-) I actually ended up rolling mine up yesterday due to the warmth & although I was a bit worried they would unroll due to the fabric they stayed in place perfectly :-)
