New Outfit Post - Capri Trousers & Stripes

Wow how glorious has the weather been this weekend?  I mean seriously if only we could order weather like that every weekend life would be perfect.  I don't know if you're anything like me but when we have weather like this it just makes me toy with the idea of living abroad & being able to dine alfresco every day (& of course this time of year the wasps aren't hanging around, which obviously helps - as seriously I must be one of the most jittery people ever around wasps!!!).

The weather forecast is threatening showers & thunder but still temperatures in the early 20's for today so I'm still wearing trousers (the legs aren't fake tanned enough for dresses yet!!) but I have got my ankles out!!!

Sequined Knitted Top - Boden
Necklace - Zara
Capri Trousers - Zara
Ballet Pumps - Zara

So this time next week we'll all be enjoying another Bank Holiday Monday.....to say I'm starting the countdown would be a bit of an understatement.....I actually started after the last Bank Holiday three weeks ago!!!!  Any chance we might be lucky & have glorious weather next weekend?!!!  Only time will tell!!!

Work today & a nervous wait to hear how our son gets on with his second GCSE exam.  I've already had several frantic texts when he couldn't find his exam entry card!!!!  Luckily it has turned up (I had visions I may have washed it with his school uniform!!).  Where it was found goodness only knows.....I'll look forward to hearing when he returns from school...I'm thinking in his wallet where it had been put for safe keeping & he didn't look properly but we'll see!!!

Have a great Monday.

  2. looks a cool, easy wearing outfit but put together so professionally by you. Fingers crossed for good bank holiday weather - don't want a weekend indoors with family which is what usually happens BH. We need to be out in the garden bbqing.

  4. It was quite lovely and it is again today in Hampshire. I love sunny weekends, it doesn't HAVE to be mega warm as just being able to get outside with the little girl for a play in the sunshine is a bonus. I do like the mega warm days mind you although I'd like those to wait until after the baby is born!

This is a fab top, I really like it!

    1. Thanks Lou. When's your baby due? I remember the year my son was born it was scorching & I was so uncomfortable....I could hardly get any shoes on lol!!! Might be worth investing in an electric fan if the weather continues.
