Stylish Loungewear & WIWT

I was recently contacted by Isabi to see if I would be interested in reviewing some of their new collection & as it was a brand I'd never heard of I was intrigued to learn more, especially as their byline is 'the art of intelligent dressing'.

The fact that Isabi aim to provide 'affordable, luxury, beautifully styled clothes for trend aware, individual real women' meant that it wasn't long before I was clicking through their online website faster than you can say 'designer sale'!!!!

Their concept is based around a way of dressing that 'takes you from home, to the school run, to work, to dinner & socialising, yet enables you to constantly feel fabulous about the way you look', so naturally I was eager to try some of their clothing to see what it was like.

Now the one item that I kept being drawn to was their harem trousers, after all who doesn't love a harem?!!!  The perfect pair of trousers for looking stylish but being comfortable at the same time & no I'm not talking about the elasticated waist!!!  I'm talking about the fact that they're the perfect pair of trousers to dress up or down, to wear in the house or out & about running errands not to mention of course the ultimate in comfort for any long distance travelling.

So it got me thinking........how many of us struggle to look comfortable, yet stylish for lounging around the house?!!! Yup I'm talking about those days where you're not going out, not expecting anyone to call & are just basically totally downing tools & chillaxing.  I think a lot of us struggle to have an outfit that's as cosy & warm as PJ's but more stylish for lounging around & generally have a pair of trackie bums & an old sweatshirt that we may have downgraded from something we'd wear outside of the house to perfect for slobbing out in.  However, every fashionista wants a casual outfit that offers the comfort of a beloved pair of trackie bums but also makes us feel a little glamorous too just on the off chance that an unexpected visitor calls.

So with this in mind I decided to try Isabi's harem trousers & boy they didn't disappoint.  Made from 100% viscose with fold over waist detailing, drape pockets & tapered leg they are the ultimate in stylish comfortable loungewear.

I decided to chose their navy harems, which are currently in the sale at a bargain price of £13.50!!!!

But they also come in a variety of colours including these ones in black.

Plum.

Or if you prefer patterned harmed these stunning animal print ones.

Or these graphic print harems.

I also chose one of their essential vest tops as the perfect layer for teaming with the harems & have to say I don't think I've ever had such a luxurious vest top in my wardrobe.   It's made from 94% modal & 6% elastane & to say it feels so soft & too luxurious to be labelled a 'vest top' is something of an understatement plus it's a lovely long length, much longer than any vest tops I've every brought so perfect for using as a layer over shorter cropped tops not to mention tucking in & keeping your back nice & warm (a necessity for sofa days I find ;-) )  Again I went for the navy as I wanted a matching look for my loungewear plus for me it's just a great wardrobe staple.

But it also comes in the following colours, which I have to admit to being pretty tempted to buy as they are TOTALLY gorgeous & I know no other vest top is ever going to match the feel & fit of this beauty.

Of course for summer days my loungewear outfit is complete but seeing as we sadly don't have Mediterranean weather all year round I also chose Isabi's stunning cable knit shrug to complete my ultimate loungewear look.  Again another gorgeous piece made from 40% wool, 28% viscose, 15% polyamide, 10% cashmere & 7% angora & it really does feel like a hug in a shrug.  Perfect for wrapping up in & snuggling in on days where the weather just isn't playing ball.

Now I don't know about you but I always get excited when a parcel arrives at the door & the presentation of my Isabi's package made the process even more exciting as it was so beautifully presented & wrapped.

So of course it wasn't long before I was tearing through the tissue paper in the anticipation of trying on my new stylish loungewear.  To say I love it is something of an understatement & quite frankly has got me hoping for quiet days in simply so I can wear my new staying in outfit as I totally love it.

Style One

Shrug - Isabi £80
Vest Top - Isabi £18
Necklace - Handmade
Harems - Isabi £13.50

Now if I'm being totally honest I would have to say that my new clothing is far too nice to be worn only on quiet days in & I couldn't possibly not take them out to play in the big wide world too.  In fact I think provided I put a pair of shoes on (flip flops for summer, pumps for winter) I'd be happy to pop out in my said new luxurious loungewear (something I never thought I'd say!!!) & also because the three pieces are great wardrobe classics they're also idea for teaming individually to create separate stylish looks too.

For example the vest top looks stunning teamed with a pair of jeans & some flats for summer.  I love how it has a slightly lower back to the front neckline & the longer length means it's also perfect for ruching to hide a multitude of sins.

Style Two

Vest Top - Isabi £18
Necklace - Handmade

Not to mention the perfect neckline for wearing under a jacket or two ;-)

Of course as I mentioned earlier the harem trousers are also perfect for dressing up or down be it worn with a cami & a pair of heels for an evening look or teamed with a denim jacket for the perfect school run outfit.

Style Four

Style Five

Finally here's what I'm wearing today.....although the sun has now gone in & we've got cloudy skies :-(

So what do you think of my new loungewear?  Do have have a go to outfit that you wear on days when you're not going out?  If so is it items of clothing that have seen better days or have you brought an outfit especially?  Or perhaps you struggle about what to wear for quiet days in.  If so I really recommend you take a look at Isabi & the lovely pieces they have to offer.  After all who doesn't want to look stylish even on days spent slobbing on the sofa?!!!!

Have a great day celebrating Father's Day, another BBQ is on the cards for us......now all we need is the sun to reappear!!!

Have a good one & see you in the morning.
