New Outfit Post - Keeping It Simples With A Stripy Dress

Thought I'd give my new H&M dress an outing today.  I've got a bit of ridiculously busy day at work & a 'to do' list as long as anything so I'm keeping things pretty simple & have just teamed the dress with my metallic slingbacks, a chunky pearl necklace & my Boden pink crossbody bag.

Dress - H&M
Necklace - Zara
Bracelets - Handmade
Bag - Boden
Shoes - Next £26

Keeping It Simple

Dress - H&M Now £12
Shoes - Next £26

Have you got a dress that's easy just to throw & comfortable for days like today?  If so I'd love to hear how you accessorise it.

Have a fab day & see you in the morning.

  1. Simple works a treat! I put those Zara pearls on me the other day but I don't think they suit me anymore :-( They look great on you.
    Enjoy your busy day!

    1. Thanks Sharron although I'm thinking it might be too hot for holiday....I hate feeling restricted in clothes & the slightly longer sleeves might leave me too hot & flustered but we'll see!

  4. I have a dress tthat has the same function: it's the j crew raglan dress (http://herestonewbeginnings.wordpress.com/2013/04/02/9-months/) from a few years ago. I use it so much! It's like loungewear but you can easily dress it up with a sparkly necklace or earrings, and heels. On an everyday run I like to wear it with my red flats or hunter boots...I actually wore it through all of my pregnancy and to the hospital when I was in labor!

    1. You're right Sara it's the perfect dress to chill out in or dress up. Love the idea of teaming it with red flats.

  6. I have the same dress and the same dilemma. I bought it for holidays but now think it may be a bit hot with the 3/4 length sleeves. I've tried wearing it in the UK but I think it may be a tad to short.... must be braver!
