Can You Ever Have Enough Knitwear & WIWT

When Woolovers recently got in touch to introduce me to their brand I was intrigued to learn more, as after all one thing we will all be needing come the coming months is plenty of knitwear!

Now I must admit I'd never heard of the brand but seeing as they're currently celebrating their 25th year & offer over 160 styles in 180 different colours & combinations I decided it would be rude not to take a peak.  After all who doesn't get a bit fed up after the first handful of times of wearing your reliable navy/black/cream 'V' neck & yearn for something a little bit different.  Plus if I'm honest they had me at fully machine washable, no more hand wash....errhhh yes please!

Fast forward much oohing & aahing & here's the three pieces I decided to style.

First up I love pale grey teamed with soft denim & white so as soon as I saw this button neck jumper I couldn't wait to style it.  It's made from 30% cashmere & 70% merino wool & has lovely detailing across the chest, with mother of pearl buttons & a contrast velvet trim.  It's perfect for either wearing on it's own, over a shirt or even unbuttoned to show a contrasting vest top.  Plus it's available in 7 different colour ways.

I decided to style mine with simple distressed denim, sparkly grey flats & some hot pink accessories to brighten the outfit up & it really is as well made & comfy as it looks!

Bracelets - Handmade & Gemini-Woman £23
Bag - ASOS
Jeans - Zara
Sparkly Flats - Zara

The next jumper to catch my eye was this collared jumper, which is available in 10 different shades.  Again made from 30% cashmere & 70% merino wool with small round faux pearl buttons.

As with the previous jumper I ordered small & it fits perfectly.  I really like the fitted shape to the design as opposed to being a jumper that just hangs & doesn't necessarily do you any favours.

I chose to style mine with some leopard print & red capri trousers.  I really love the fact that the buttons can be worn undone fairly low without exposing too much plus of course you have the option to wear with a cami or vest to add some more detailing should you wish & undo the buttons further.  I think it would look really nice teamed with a lace cami to add that little bit more interest & depth when teaming with some heels & a leather skirt for a night out with the girls or your other half.

Necklace - Bought in Majorca
Bracelet - J Crew £125
Clutch - Gap
Trousers - Zara
Ballet Pumps - Mint Velvet

Finally I couldn't resist choosing a long length 'V' neck as I just find them so useful, whether it be teaming with skinny or boyfriend jeans to a pencil or 'A' line skirt.  Again the composition is 30% cashmere & 70% merino wool & it has a great deep 'V' neck plus what I really love is the extra deep ribbing to the the cuffs and hemline.

This style is available in 9 different colours but I just had to choose my favourite colour at the moment - hot pink, such a great colour for adding interest & it looks fab with grey, navy, blacks & denim.

Shirt - Zara
Faux Leather Skirt - Zara £25.99
Ballet Pumps - Bought in Majorca

I must admit I'm absolutely delighted with my new knitwear & really impressed by the quality & choice on offer.  So much so that I'll certainly be making Woolovers my first stop when looking for knitwear both for myself & the boys.  So if you're in need of some new additions I'd certainly recommend that you take a peak as for choice on both jumpers & cardigans you won't do better.

Finally here's what I'm wearing today for an extremely lazy Sunday, although if this sunshine continues I'll be drag out the shorts!

Shirt - Zara
Combats - Zara
Sandals - Zara

Chambray, Khaki & Sparkles

Shirt - Mango £29.99
Combats - Zara £25.99
Sandals - Zara £25.99

So have you ever brought from Woolovers in the past?  If so I'd love to hear how you've found them.  Of course I've yet to wash mine but I'm sure they're going to wash great after all you don't get to be celebrating 25 years without building up a great following & reputation.  Plus if you're tempted they currently have up to 50% off but hurry sale finishes today!

See you tomorrow.

  2. Oh I'm glad to hear such good things about Woolovers. I tried some of their lambswool knits last year but I didn't get on with them as I generally don't get on with lambswool and I should have just gone straight for their merino/cashmere offerings. I might have another go with them again soon ... once I decide which colour and what style - there is an awful lot to choose from.

  3. I've seen their catalogue but never ordered, the details look nice, I like the velvet (is it velvet?) on the button placket, and the buttons on the collared jumper. Might have to reconsider!

    2. It was the detailing that really attracted me as they're just that little bit different whilst still remaining wardrobe classics.

  6. I found Woolovers in 2011 while living in London. I bought several pieces from them and love each one. Several washings and years later, they still look great. I'm back in the US now and very happy they ship here. :)

    1. Thanks Michelle & yes it's certainly in the detailing isn't it. I love how a simple jumper is transformed with that attention to detail.
