"Timeless everyday style"

WIWT - LBD

First day back to school for our son & to say both his & my bottom lips are protruding would be an understatement!  I love having him home & the non-school routine that goes with school holidays & the summer holiday seems to have just flown by.  Oh well the countdown to half term begins today!!

So a busy day with work & on top of that we've got the builders in but fingers crossed & touching wood this is going to be the last day & our floor will be laid & we can start getting back to normal not to mention I can get my new tablecloth out (little things pleasing little minds ;-) ).

Seeing as the temperatures are supposed to be lovely today I'm wearing one of my little black dresses & accessorising it with leopard print a perfect combination in my mind!

Dress - Zara
Leather Cuff - Banana Republic
Bag - Gap
Shoes - Mint Velvet

LBD & Leopard Print

Dress - Mango £59.99
Leather Cuff - Mango £14.99
Bag - Boden £79
Shoes - Dune £20

Hope the first day back at school is going well with everyone's children & the early mornings aren't too much of a shock!

See you tomorrow.

  1. Ah Jane I can remember those days so well, even though mine are big people now! Always tinged with a tear, but they both loved school are were always happy to go back! Getting back to a routine, is always hard especially after the long summer hols....But at least you do get a bit of me time back! Love the black and leopard combo too! xx

    1. It just goes so quickly doesn't it Nicola but at least it's a nice short week :-) Plus he's at an age where he's no trouble & sometimes makes me lunch!! Will hate it if he disappears to Uni!!

    1. I bet you were Laurie. I don't even have to drop him off at the school gates now :-( just a wave from the front door & the occasional phone call to tell me he's forgotten something!!!

  3. I miss my young lady too, although I might be able to buy something for myself before she cleans me out now that she is back in school!! The other three are off doing their own thing... but I miss them all in different ways when they are not around! Lovely outfit as always Jane:)

    1. Oh yes kitting them out is so expensive isn't it Anne, although I may have done my last school uniform round depending on where he chooses for sixth form!!

  6. Love the outfit Jane, fab dress & you know I'm biased on the bag ;) This is always a bit of an emotional time of the year I think; back to school/work, plus the changing of the seasons & every September your children seem that bit more grown up...with my little boy starting school this week it feels like such a milestone having both children at school! x
