Now we all know I love a bit of
Boden, so when they recently released their latest drop & their brochure landed at my door I didn't loose any time in seeing what beauties there were to tempt me.
As I've mentioned in the past I'm instantly drawn to Boden's more classic, less patterned pieces that are easy to style with the latest trends, so without further ado here's my current wish list.
I just love this navy jumpsuit - perfect for dressing down with flat sandals or trainers & layering with a denim jacket on cooler weather but equally stunning teamed with heels & a blazer for a night out. This would also make a super comfy travelling outfit too.
Now I've yet to add a bomber style jacket to my collection but this patterned one is seriously tempting me. It puts me in mind of my Mango quilted jacket, which I often get asked where it's from. This kind of jacket is great for teaming with classic plain pieces to make a real statement.
Now this next dress I spotted at their press day back at the beginning of the year & loved it the moment I saw it. How perfect is this for layering with some statement jewellery & on cooler days teaming with a denim jacket...... I think this is definitely going to have to be purchased to try :-0
Having fallen head over heels in love with hot pink I now seem to be drawn to all things red at the moment, so I love this classic dress. Another great wardrobe addition that could be styled with flat sandals & a denim jacket for daytime but equally dressed up with heels & a gold clutch for evening. I think this would look stunning with gold accessories & a tan for holidays.
If you're loving the 70s vibe this season then these simple kaftan styled dresses would be perfect for sunny days & great for wearing on their own as a dress & layered with a few gold necklaces & bracelets or also worn over a pair of skinny jeans as a tunic.
Sticking with the kaftan with these lovely boho inspired tops, which are ideal for the summer. I love how Boden have styled the navy one with simple white shorts, but equally this would look just as stunning with a pair of boyfriend jeans & either ballet pumps/sandals or even trainers would look just as good.
Now you can't beat a maxi dress for the summer & holidays & I love the simplicity of this maxi dress, not to mention the tassel belt. I'd style this with a few delicate gold chains & either a metallic or boho styled clutch. Then on cooler days wear with either a denim jacket or even a biker.
Now if you've seen Boden's Alice shoes but wished they came in a flat version then you're in luck as they've now released these babies.
Now I've previously featured this tunic on the blog before (I love the edging). This would make a stunning beach throw not to mention perfect for teaming with a pair of trousers be it jeans or a linen wide leg pair.
And with my ever increasing love of all things striped then a classic navy & white breton is perfect for teaming with denim shorts, wide legged linen trousers or even capri pants too be they denim, white, navy or even red.
Of course come the Spring not to mention the Summer a denim jacket totally comes into it's own. Now most of us probably own a classic styled denim jacket but as soon as I saw Boden's interpretation I instantly loved the round, frayed neckline. Still classic but something a bit different too.
And finally Boden are on a total roll the past couple of seasons with their shoes & these lace up points are proving a real hit & they have tassels too!
Now Boden have very kindly let me choose a few items to style, so what did I choose? Well first up it had to be the Circle Crochet Tunic. As I've mentioned above not only will this be perfect for wearing down to the pool on holiday it's also a great top for teaming with a pair of trousers. I've styled it with some distressed cigarette jeans & then injected some colour with the accessories. Now I generally size up with Boden's tops but with this one I've ordered my standard size & there's plenty of room.

I just love the detailing on the neckline & sleeves.
Of course I couldn't resist their classic breton & instead of teaming it with jeans I thought I'd style it with a pair of wide legged trousers, a statement pearl necklace & dress the outfit down a bit with my trainers. Size wise I'd definitely suggest sizing up unless you want a very fitted look.
Necklace - Zara
Trainers - Mango
As I've mentioned above I was really taken with Boden's take on the classic denim jacket so I couldn't wait to try it on & style it. I've added the jacket to my above outfit to help dress the outfit down. Size wise I've sized up with the jacket & whilst I could of probably have ordered my normal size I wanted the jacket to be a little less fitted & also have room for a layer or two. The denim is just the perfect shade for summer such a soft denim blue that's going to be perfect for teaming with all colours.
Necklace - Zara
Trainers - Mango
As I said above I just love the frayed neckline.
And finally having found my New Look lace up flats so very useful I simply had to try Boden's version. Naturally I feel in love with these babies the moment I slipped my foot inside. I'd say these are true to size & like any new shoe may need the first one or two wears to break them in but after that I'm sure they're going to be super comfy.
Jeans - Zara
Finally here's my outfit for today & as you'll see I simply had to wear my new shoes.

So what do you think? Are you as tempted by Boden's latest additions as much as I am? Is there anything that takes your fancy? Or have you in fact already clicked the button? I'd love to hear your thoughts & know what pieces are your favourite.
Have a fab day, only two more sleeps until the Bank Holiday weekend whoop whoop :-)
