What I've Been Buying In May & WIWT

Another month, another confession & surprise, surprise there's been a few purchases :-0

So let's get on with the confessions, starting with this embroidered bag from Zara.  Having found my pom pom bag from ASOS so useful last summer for nights out & on holiday I knew this summer I wanted to invest in a couple of other statement pieces as they're perfect for bringing an outfit to life plus you don't have to be over precious with them.

Now this next top which I've already bought in a couple of colours but love it so much whether under a blazer or worn on it's own that when I saw that they were doing a white version it was a must have neutral for my wardrobe.

Plus a printed top is a great wardrobe essential on days when you feel you have nothing to wear.  Simply team with a pair of jeans & you've got a statement outfit without much thought & having bought this top in a different colour way I just couldn't resist it this colour too.

This next dress is perfect for cooler summer days, in fact I love it so much I've already worn it with my biker jacket & yesterday with a blazer.  Plus the colours & style mean that with a few layers underneath it can also be worn for AW15.

A gorgeous necklace next - I just love silver & turquoise teamed with white & a tan come the summer months so this will definitely be coming on holiday with me.

I think I may have been spending too much time folding my son's karate kit as I just love this belt & this it's going to make the perfect dress up accessory for my boyfriend jeans & a simple tee.

As soon as I saw these & Marks had a 20% off offer I just couldn't resist these shoes.  They're going to be perfect for creating a bit of wow factor to a simple plain outfit & because they've got Insolia they're super comfy too :-)  In fact I've already worn these babies on a recent girls night out.

And finally I couldn't resist this fantastic maxi dress, which seeing as I had a £5 voucher meant I managed to get it for under £15.  A great dress for layering with gold bracelets & sandals & a denim jacket for cooler days.  I just love the embroidered detailing.

Moving onto what I'm wearing today for a quiet one at home.....fingers crossed the temperatures rise so the layers can come off!
