What I've Been Buying In June & My OOTD

One of these months I'm going to surprise you & there will be no purchases but until that time (or as hubby announced 'when pigs can fly') suffice to say this month there may have been the odd purchase or two!

So jumping straight in with my first purchase from surprise surprise Zara!  This top is perfect for either wearing on or off the shoulder & layered with a few delicate gold chains.  I've got so many different bottom halves to team it with from denim jeans to cream jeans to my navy wide legged trousers that it would have been rude not to click the button ;-)

Zara Off-Shoulder T-Shirt

Now I've already featured this next dress is my summer 'must haves' post (see here), as soon as I saw this dress I couldn't resist it.  Perfect for hot sunny days or layering with a denim jacket & gloriously long to hide the legs.  The fact that it will take a miracle to keep the hem clean is something I'm quite happy to ignore as the dress is simply stunning!

Mango Boho Flowy Dress

And of course I couldn't not buy this lovely blouse.  As soon as I saw it online it was ordered in an instant.  I just love the long length, lace detailing & the fact that it's tapered & not too loose fitting in a boho kind of way.

Zara Shirt With Guipure Lace Bib Front

You probably know that I love a tusk necklace for layering in the summer so when ASOS had a recent 20% off offer I snapped this one up.  It's a lovely long length & fantastic quality & weight so I'm sure to be getting lots of wear from this over the coming weeks, in fact I'm already wondering how on earth I managed without it!

Selected Femme Tula Tusk Necklace

I also couldn't resist a couple of pairs of new sandals for our holidays - perfect for going with anything & everything (I could literally just take these on holiday....not of course that I'll admit it to hubby!!) & they seriously look even more lovely & expensive in the flesh!

Zara Bobble Detail Sandals

Zara Crossover Shiny Sandals

These next two purchase together with a Zara top that I can't find online, are my only sales purchases (& yes hubby has checked my temperature lol!).  I just couldn't resist this bag for holiday, especially after it had been reduced & am planning on pimping it up - more details on the blog shortly!!

Mango Jute Bag

Of course these tan court shoes are just a fabulous classic addition with a not too higher heel so perfect for keeping upright & will be perfect for Autumn.

Mango Pointed Toe Pumps

Finally this next item was a total impulse buy.  I spotted it online & decided it was worth a chance, hubby thought I'd completely lost the plot but you know what it's absolutely stunning & is totally going to come into it's own during autumn & winter - perfect for teaming with all the denim, grey, white & black in my wardrobe - just think simple white shirt & skinny jeans & you've got a real statement outfit.

Topshop Ombre Feather Gilet

And as usual finishing with what I'm wearing today - my 'A' line pleather skirt from last year teamed with a very old French Connection top & my new glittery sandals.

  2. The bobble sandals are gorgeous! I've done a lot less sale shopping than I would like due to obvious reasons, so I will have to make up for it in the winter sales! X
