Coast AW15 Press Day & WIWT Day 14 Home Time :-(

Seeing as the end of August is fast approaching & whilst not wishing to wish the last days of summer away my mind is already thinking Autumn & new season clothing, so today I thought I'd share some of the pictures I took from the Coast press day back in May.

I don't know if you're like me but until this past season Coast have sort of past me by.  Then I started seeing some beautiful skirts in the press & after further investigation fell in love with their summer collection, I even wore one of their skirts to the Ladies Day event I attended (see here) & felt very glamorous in the skirt as it fell beautifully & have the most amazing net lining.

As you can imagine I was very excited to see what Coast have in store for us this coming season & all I can say is think Carrie from Sex In The City.  They have the most amaxing skirts (which my photos don't do justice) & I'm desperately trying to think of an occasion I'd need to wear one to as they are just beautiful & such an amazing selection that I'd have trouble trying to pick my favourite.

Just look at the stunning tulle ones scattered with crystals in the below photos.  I've got an image in my head of teaming these with a simple 'V' grey marl tee, black blazer, stunning heals & a statement necklace.  And the pink dress with feather edging also comes in black.  Again a fabulous statement dress that is timeless & would look just stunning for the right occasion.

Top Right Pink Dress - Coast £189

Love the blue faux fur coat in the bottom right picture (excuse the glass!), which reminds me of my Zara sales bargain from last winter & the blue dress next to it again if you've got the right occasion would look amazing.

As you can see faux fur & tulle feature heavily in the collection & as always I'm loving the navy & blue worn together.

Another style skirt they had in several different colourways but my photos don't do it any justice are this beauty.  Seriously it was even more amazing on than in the picture below, if you have a special event then you really should try this.  It could so easily be teamed with a simple cami, statement shoes & clutch or even a simple white shirt & pearls.  It really would be a great item to have hanging in your wardrobe for special occasions.

Back to today & sadly it's time for us to leave Majorca behind & return home.  We've had a truly wonderful holiday & are leaving sunny Majorca with heavy hearts that are full of more wonderful memories and are already looking forward to returning next year.

We're got a morning flight so fingers crossed we should be home by early afternoon.  Meaning in a few hours time I'll be knee deep in dirty washing, household chores, 2 weeks of post & countless emails in the inbox.  Which is usually something I dread but with tomorrow being results day for our son's GCSEs I'm thinking this year they'll be a welcome distraction.

Anyway I've got a few more hours till I need to think about getting the washing on so here's what I'm wearing to travel home.

Nautical, My Midlife Fashion, Striped Shirt, Helene For Denim Jacket, Hush Homeware White Jeans, Kurt Geiger Sandals, La Redoute Leopard Print Belt

Shirt - Zara £25.99
Jacket - Helene £165
Jeans - Hush Now £35
Sandals - Kurt Geiger £79

So what do you think about Coast?  Is it a brand that like me you've been guilty of overlooking?  If so any reason why?  Anyone got a special occasion coming up & looking for something to wear?  If so you really should take a peek & if not why not have a look & get requainted on the off chance you do get a special invite.....I'm keeping everything crossed on the off chance I get invited to something that such an outfit is needed.  Again sorry for the lack of links but most of the items I've featured haven't yet been released but in the meantime click here to see what Coast has to offer.

See you back in sunny?!! (*crosses fingers*) England!
