Day 7 - Summer Holiday Outfit Inspiration & July's Monthly Confessions

Hola ladies!  Of course it wouldn't be a normal month without a cheeky purchase or two & with holiday season not to mention the dregs of the sales, a few purchases have naturally been made ;)

First off I just couldn't resist this shirt - perfect for summer with either cream or navy capri trousers or of course teaming with denim or even with a pair of denim cut offs.  Plus it will also be great for layering come the cooler months too.  For me the thing that got me clicking the button was the detailing, I just love the shoulder detailing as it just makes a plain striped shirt just that bit more interesting.

Zara Striped Studio Shirt

I've already featured this next top, which was purchased to wear for a family photo.  It instantly put me in mind of the grey long sleeved top that I got last autumn & always get asked where it's from when I wear it.  Again something that little bit different that is a game changer when teamed with heels & jeans.

Zara Draped Studio Top

Again I've also featured & already confessed to this striped sequin t-shirt - I just love it & it's perfect for layering under a blazer.

Marks and Spencer Pure Cotton Love Fune Smile Slogan T Shirt

As soon as I tried this next dress on I just knew it was a keeper - a lovely lightweight fabric that doesn't crease.

Wallis Black Woven V Neck Tunic Dress

And knowing my love of pompoms and scarves I don't think this beauty needs any justification does it?!!

Zara Printed Scarf With Pompom Detail

I actually spotted this wrap in store for my Mum but inbetween phoning her up & describing it I also talked myself into needing it too!  It really is the softest shade of grey & having found my Zara one so useful last year I just know this is going to be getting a lot of wear either on it's own, over a biker jacket or even a blazer......Mum I'm so blaming you for this purchase ;-)

Marks and Spencer Per Una Colour Block Tassel Trim Wrap

Finally another new top with this chiffon draped number - just stunning.  Perfect for dressing up or down & so feminine I just couldn't resist!

Zara Draped Top

Back to today & another day of sun, sangria & snoozing equals my kind of heaven & here's what I'm planning on wearing.

  2. Some fab purchases Jane.....they all look like they will take you right into the tricky transitional Autumn weather! I bet it will feel like Autumn when you get back....the weather has been hideous these past couple of days! The Zara draped top is my favourite....so pretty and as you've shown, so versatile! I look forward to seeing what you might have picked up whilst you are holiday! ;0) xx
