Dressed Down Millitary & New Beginnings

So it's a day of new beginnings today as its the first official day of our son's apprenticeship!  It seems strange dropping him off at the train station for a day at work but I just know it's going to be the making of him.  He's always wanted to work in the industry so to be offered the opporutnity he has is a real dream come true & having already helped the company on a couple of films I'm sure it's going to be a great adventure.  It's amazing how just being offered the position & gaining such great exam results he has already begun to change & I can't wait to enjoy watch from the sidelines as he soars & develops.

A busy day in the office for me & a couple of precious hours off getting the hair cut & the ever increasing greys covered, which will also see another first as I'm off to a meet my hairdresser today as she's taking the plunge & opening up her own salon in a couple of weeks.  Naturally there was never any hesitation that I wouldn't follow her & I can't wait to see the new salon.  I'm just grateful she hasn't gone too far away, although even if she did she knows I'd have tracked her down as she knows there's no one else I trust to cut my hair!  I've been going to her for about 10 years now & I'd follow her to the ends of the earth as she just knows my hair & does an amazing cut.  Seriously if anyone lives near me & is looking for a great hairdresser then send me an email & I'll happily pass her details on.

Back to clothes & here's what I'm wearing today & it's a bit of a Zara-tastic outfit!

  2. Love the Zara jacket - I have it too - but I still want the Mango one with the red trim - can I justify both? x

  3. Hi Jane! I found out your blog through Prima magazine and the article about you, since I bought the magazine to improve my english ( I'm from Spain).
Now, I follow you everyday, and my english and my style are getting better with your tips.
I'm surprised you wear a lot of clothes from Zara, Mango (spanish brands) and you like Mallorca.

    1. Hi Eva thank you so much for taking the time to comment & also following me. Learning Spanish is on my 'to do' list but I'm ashamed to say despite spending every summer in Mallorca it's not improving!!
As you say I'm a huge fan of a lot of Spanish brands & we just love Puerto Andratx.
