Stealing Cat Deeley's Style

For this month's style steal it just had to be this look I spotted on the super gorgeous Cat Deeley.  I mean seriously what's not to love about this outfit - monochrome, stripes, boucle & leather equals outfit perfection with the added bonus that I have similar items hanging in my wardrobe meaning that I can steal her style without spending a penny *cue hubby jumping for joy!* :-)

So here's Cat looking a stylish as ever.

Cat Deeley

And if like me you're loving this outfit then here's how you can steal her style with finds currently out there on the high street.

Starting with my favourite item the jacket.  Now obviously Cat's isn't from the high street & whilst there were some similar stunning jackets that I spotted that carried a fairly hefty price tag I don't think you can beat this longer & more laid back coatigan from Mango.  Far more versatile, easier on the wallet & a great length to either layer up, dress up or even dress down.  Perfect with a ruffled white shirt, leather effect leggings & heels as much as it would be with jeans, a simple tee & trainers.  Not to mention with a skirt similar to Cat's.  Plus the length is perfect for anyone who can't find the right style & shape jacket to team with an 'A' line skirt.

Mango Frayed Edges Cardigan

Moving onto a monochrome striped top, something I fear I may need in my wardrobe having only navy or the knitted monochrome jumper I'm wearing today.

Looking from the pictures online this looks a great boxy fit & I really love the extra wide stripes for a different look to your standard breton.

Marks and Spencer three quarter sleeve striped top

Onto the skirt next & you're really not going to beat this Zara one for the style or the money.  Very similiar to mine which I bought last season & have found a great addition to my wardrobe.

Zara Faux Leather Skirt

Sadly we're well past sandal weather so instead I'd team this look with some simple heeled ankle boots & of course opaques to avoid frost bite!  I just love these Boden ones.  I was lucky enough to receive the navy ones last winter & wore them A LOT!  They're really comfy, have a great block heel - so flattering on the legs but not too high that you can't wear them on a day to day basis.  In fact my sister loves them so much she ordered one in each colour (grey, navy & black) & has lived in them!

Boden Boho Boot

Finally for the bag I just love the shape of this beauty from Mango & I think the tassels & decorative studs just add that bit of additional interest.

Like I mentioned earlier I have very similar items already hanging in my wardrobe so I thought I'd try & re-create the look with these for today's outfit.

I'd also love to hear if anyone's been clicking the button on Boden's mid season sale (see here), or perhaps you've taken advantage of the 20% off at French Connection - click here & use code AW20ST at checkout.  Anything currently winging it's way to you that you fancy sharing?!!

Hope everyone has a fab day & see you tomorrow.
