Party Wear With Evans Clothing & WIWT

Having recently had to source a specific item for a client I happened to stumble upon the Evans Clothing website & have to admit I was pleasantly surprised at all the lovely offerings I found including the exact item my client was looking for!  So when Evans recently got in touch to see if I'd like to work with them I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to show you some of their current fabulous designs.

Now if like me you've not recently taken a peek, you might be surprised to see that their site is full of on trend & up-to-the-minute pieces that clearly shows they have a real passion for plus size fashion.  I must admit I had a preconceived notion from when I last visited in store several years ago that their clothing was dated but that most certainly isn't the case anymore.

Catering for sizes 14 to 32 Evans pride themselves on having an intuitive understanding of their customers' view on body image & train all their staff so that they're equipped to assist in fitting & styling those of us that are blessed with a curvier figure.  On top of this they also offer an online style adviser tool.

Plus they also offer trousers in three different lengths, something a lot of brands don't do as well as online exclusive designs.  Together with stocking brands such as Not Your Daughers Jeans (NYDJ), lingerie to suit their customer's figures & have recently collaborated with Melissa McCarthy.

But the one thing that stands out for me is their ethos:

"We believe that every woman should feel confident & beautiful in her curves, & we believe that we provide her with the clothing to really celebrate her shape"

In a day & age where the fashion industry can become too hung up on body image this just speaks volumes & for me is what fashion & clothing is should be all about.

So with Christmas season fast approaching I thought I'd showcase four outfits featuring items purely from Evans so you can see for yourself what I mean.

For my first look I've chosen pieces that not only make a great festive number to wear to any party but would also make great wardrobe classics that can be worn countless ways.  For example the lace top could be teamed with black tailored pants & a red statement clutch but would equally look stunning dressed down with a pair of boyfriend jeans & statement heels & we all know just how useful a waterfall jacket can be.  Perfect for throwing on with most outfits & should you be feeling a little self conscious ideal to wear over a pair of tight fit jeans to give you an added boost.

Party Inspiration

Again with my second look all of these pieces really are wardrobe staples - I for one certainly couldn't live without a pair of leopard print shoes & a monochrome look really is timeless.  The loose fit shirt is perfect for all of us who feel a little self conscious of our middle areas while the sleeveless jacket will create more of a dressier & tailored look.

Party Wear

For my third outfit I've styled it around the ever useful maxi skirt.  A great wardrobe staple that if teamed with a simple cami can be dressed up with a bit of bling from a statement necklace or clutch & the belt just helps tie the look together as well as add definition.

And finally for those Christmas occasions where you don't need to dress up too much but still want to make an effort how about this boho inspired dress teamed with a simple biker jacket & shoe boot.  Just add a statement clutch & you're good to go!

As always I love reading your thoughts & appreciate the time it takes to comment.

Have a great day & I'll see you in the morning.
