Another Fab eBay Find, A New Lippy & Styling A Denim Dress

Morning ladies I've got a couple of great finds to share with you this morning.

Starting with this fab Chanel look-a-likey quilted leather bag. This beauty is another great eBay find from a seller based in Germany. It's 100% leather, beautifully made & although the listing is advertised at £58.90, there is the option of making the seller an offer & in case you're wondering what price to go in at all I can say is my cheeky offer of £45 plus postage was accepted! On top of that it only took 3 working days for my bag to arrive, so a very happy eBay shopper indeed :-)

The only thing I would point out in case you're tempted to click the button is that the bag is more of a dark red than post box red as shown in the listing but other than that I can't fault it & the seller even stocks the bag in several other colours & has a great range of other styles too.......something I may have to investigate further at a later date!

My other great find is a new Charlotte Tilbury lipstick. As you will no doubt know by now I'm a HUGE Charlotte Tilbury fan. I can honestly say that I haven't tried any product that I'm not 100% in love with.

Since changing my make up I've invested in a couple of the K.I.S.S.I.N.G lipsticks together with a couple of lip glosses to layer over the top, so when Charlotte Tilbury recently got in touch to see if I'd be interested in reviewing one of her new lipsticks I couldn't wait to try it on.

For those of you who don't follow Charlotte on social media, to celebrate the launch of a new shade of lipstick she recently launched a competition asking her followers on Instagram & Facebook to choose the name of her new shade. The response was so outstanding that Charlotte decided to design a second shade, which resulted in the launch of two matt lipsticks 'Between The Sheets' & 'Kiss Chase' that are exclusively available either online or at her newly opened Covent Garden store.

Now I can't remember the last time I worn a matt lipstick, in fact until swapping over to Charlotte's range I was a lipgloss only kind of girl but her K.I.S.S.I.N.G range of lipsticks are so lovely that I'll more than happily wear just the lipstick on it's own. But matt lipstick is another thing entirely. I'm sure I'm not the only one who in the past has worn a matt lipstick that has resulted in their lips looking as if they've not tasted water for a VERY long time.

Anyway I digress back to Charlotte's new lipsticks. I was sent 'Between The Sheets', which if I could have picked a shade would have definitely been the one I would have chosen. This is how my new lipstick arrived. I don't know about you but I just love how Charlotte packages her cosmetics & with if ever you fancy treating a friend/sister/mum to a a little pick me up you're not going to do better than a new lippy arriving packaged like this.

So back to the lipstick. I think the best way of describing the colour is as Charlotte herself describes it on her website, a 'just kissed, natural and innocent flush of colour'. That is the prettiest of pinks & a little bit brighter than the more nude shades I've recently been wearing from Charlotte's collection so the perfect addition to my make up bag.

Luckily the lipstick isn't how I remember matt lipsticks from the past & there's no drying of the lips or looking like you're seriously dehydrated. Instead the lipstick contains tree and orchid extracts to soften, hydrate & protect the lips as well as 3D glowing pigments to create the illusion of wider & fuller lips. Together with a blend of oils mixed with triglycerides to glide onto the lips whilst providing long-lasting colour. And I certainly vouch for the lipstick having great staying power, which is increased further if worn with one of Charlotte's lipliners underneath.

So back to today & I'm bring out my old Topshop denim dress to play & styling it with my over the knee boots & Zara wool coat & finishing the look off with my two new purchases - my quilted leather bag & Charlotte Tilbury lipstick to complete the look.
