A Mid-Season Sales Bargain & WIWT

Happy Thursday ladies.  Before I get onto what I'm wearing today I wanted to share with you a new mid-season sales purchase that arrived yesterday that I'm delighted with.

Having spotted these crop trousers that had been reduced by 53% I thought it rude not to 'click the button' as I thought they'd make a great alternative to jeans & cigarette pants.

Now I had high hopes for these babies & when I unwrapped them they didn't disappoint.  The fabric is 98% viscose 2% elastic & is the perfect thickness in terms of weight & how they fall.  Plus when the temperatures soar I think they're going to be lovely & cool to wear.  Also due to their comfort factor they'll make the perfect pair of trousers for travelling to sunnier climates.  Plus they're also available in maroon for those of you who don't love black quite as much as me!

Mango Crop Trousers

Like I said I think they're going to prove very useful & have already been thinking up ways of styling them.  Here's just 3 ways they could be styled for day but they'd equally look fab teamed with a heel for evening to.

Crop Trousers 3 Ways, My Midlife Fashion, Crop Trousers 3 ways, shop my style, mango crop trousers, marks and spencer pure cotton broderie bardot top, hush star leather trainers, zara tweed jacket, jaeger essential jersey camisole top, marks and spencer stain away block heeled sandals with insole, hush military jacket, top shop ruffle floral tee, office shoes dilly two part ankle strap pointed pumps

In terms of sizing I ordered the small, which are slightly too big but I'm still keeping them as I quite like the fact that this means they fall that bit longer.  Like I've already said if you're after an alternative to your usual trousers they're a great alternative.  Plus for those of you who love culottes but can't quite get them to work these are a great alternative as they're more of a straight leg cut.

I'm loving them so much that I'm wearing mine today with a spot of 'Bet' & a lovely knitted jacket I bought last year in Majorca.

    1. Hi Lynsey you'll have to let me know how you get on with the trousers but I think they're a great style to start with if you've not worn culottes or wide legged trousers.
Thank you so much for your lovely comment & following me.
