Back to today & in honour of the start of a new week I'm bringing out a midi skirt that I refer to as the Chris Martin skirt after meeting him in London when I last wore it!  It's a beautiful skirt & one I'm determined not to keep for best.  So today I thought I'd do a spot of pattern clashing & team the floral print with some good old breton stripes.

Here's hoping the week gets off to a great start for us all.  Have a great day & I'll see you bright & early in the morning.  Don't forget it's the last day to grab 20% off at Marks.  Simply click here & use code WT6F29 & check out my top picks here.

Back tomorrow with some fantastic gift ideas to suit all budgets.

  1. Well talk about your "great minds" moment yesterday with Susan, yesterday at our family birthday brunch one of our joint pressies was a Hotel Chocolat advent calendar for two! Whilst not wanting to wish our ever-diminishing lives away, we are excited to get started!
BTW, I have one of those wicker tree skirts and it finishes off the tree prettily each year. Recommended.

    1. Oh that's so funny Mary but they're such a lovely gift aren't they. I bet you can't wait till the 1st of December so you can start enjoying it.
The wicker tree skirts are brilliant as well. I've left it too late in previous years to grab one so I clicked on the button the moment I saw these. I can't wait to get all the decorations out & put it round the tree. Not long to go :-)
      Have a lovely week.

  2. Getting me a Breton for next spring. What? It's not that far away! Might get a skirt for my tree if I can bear to buy a skirt for anyone rather than me.

    1. Gosh the way this year has whizzed by Spring will definitely be here before we know it Susan. Although I'd also keep an eye out in the sales to as it's quite useful to get one with a decent thickness so you can wear it all year round.
Lol re your comment about the skirt - I can highly recommend them :-)
