Morning ladies today I thought we'd take a peek at Coast, a brand I would say were definitely one of my first ports of call when looking for occasion wear for an event for either myself or a client. They really do offer some of the best timeless & elegant outfits you can find on the high street that aren't a silly price. Plus if you mix & match either in accessories &/or separates then you can easily personalise the look & not run the risk of seeing someone in exactly the same outfit.
The last couple of years I've gone to an event celebrating Ascot Ladies Day, which has called for a bit of glamour & a special outfit & luckily I've also had at least one other occasion where I've been able to wear the outfit, which has of course made justifying a new purchase for such an event so much easier.
So with this in mind I've picked my favourite pieces from Coast that can not only be dressed to the nines but can also be accommodated for less smarter occasions as well to help the all important cost per wear.
So starting with the four dresses I've featured above, each one of these would look amazing teamed with a statement shoe, matching clutch & either a fascinator or hat depending on your preference & the event. But equally these dresses could also be worn for more casual occasions such as an evening on your summer holidays. Imagine any of the above teamed with a simple sandal, such as these & an ethnic clutch like this one & suddenly they taken on a more casual look & appearance.
Likewise with their separates you can easily dress a top up or down, as I've shown above. Simply by pairing a dressier top with jeans, whether these be boyfriend of skinny the top instantly becomes something that can be worn on a night out with the girls or even date night. Similarly the trousers can easily be dressed down with trainers & a simple tee & shacket combo. With the tulle skirt styled with trainers & a biker jacket for daytime wear to prevent it just sitting in your wardrobe crying out to be worn.
Onto today's outfit & I'm bringing out my M&S embroidered midi skirt again & this time keeping the styling really simples with a tee & biker combo.
