Stylish Sun Hats + WIWT

Morning ladies no doubt many of you, like us are on the countdown to summer holidays & one accessory that's an absolute must is a sun hat not only to protect our skin from sun damage & the heat of the midday sun but also holiday hair.  Whether you suffer from humidity or like myself just can't do glamorous hair poolside they're brilliant for hiding behind ;-)

Of course they're also a great necessity when we're lucky enough to enjoy hot sunny days back home & a simple stylish straw hat has the great ability to not only bring an outfit together but will seriously up your outfit in the stylish stakes to!

Personally for me I don't think you can ever go wrong with a classic panama - timeless, stylish & can be worn by either sex - hubby & I are always sharing & swapping our hats on holiday.  In fact I've already got my summer hat for this year's holiday sorted with this one that I've previously shared with you.  Although I'm also contemplating giving this one this one a try as well as I reckon it would be perfect for those times when you're lying on a sun lounger reading & don't want a brim getting in the way & I think it would probably mean you wouldn't need your sunglasses on either.

Whilst my summer hat is one thing I can tick off the holiday shopping list if you've yet to get yours I've but together my edit of the best styles this season that are currently available on the high street.  As always simply click on any of the images for all the details.

Back to today & I'm making the most of the sunshine to wear another pretty white top.

So ladies what are your thoughts?  Are you like me a traditional panama kind of girl or do you prefer to swap & change depending on the season's 'must have'?  I'd love to hear your thoughts & preferences.

Plus for anyone needing a handy packing tip on how to pack your sun hat to avoid having to have it as hand luggage then fill the inside of the hat with items such as underwear, kaftans etc then pack the hat upside down in the centre of your case with rolled t-shirts/shorts etc around the outside.  We've been packing ours for quite a few years like this & it's definitely the best way of putting them in your suitcase without causing any damage.

Enjoy your day ladies & I'll see you in the morning.
