Happy Thursday ladies. Before we get onto what I'm wearing I just have to share with you a fab new pair of ballet pumps that I've been sent by Cocorose. As you've probably gathered by now I have a huge love for ballet pumps - stylish, timeless & oh so easy to wear for everyday life. Add in a splash of leopard print & you've naturally got my ideal pair of shoes.
Now hands up I'll admit I own a fair few pairs of ballet pumps but a style I've never tried before are the fold up version. Probably because I've always presumed the elasticated heel would stick into my foot & I'm getting too old for uncomfortable shoes. But when Cocorose got in touch I was intrigued & thought I'd give them a whirl. After all the amount of times I'm now throwing a pair of flipflops into my bag for a night out are rapidly increasing so a pair of stylish ballet pumps that could also be used for this purpose would be so much more handy than flip flops come the depths of winter.
As you can see from the image above the ballet pumps arrived beautifully packaged. I don't think I've ever had a pair of shoes wrapped in such a stunning & sturdy box. I'm a huge sucker for luxury packaging & this box has to win a gold star for fulfilling any girl's dream. I just love the satin ribbon handles & how there's a pull out drawer instead of a lid. Plus the shoes even come with their own travel purse.
So how are they comfort wise? Well I have to say they're probably the most comfortable shoes I've ever tried on, which in part is not only due to the quality of the ballet pumps but also their luxurious double cushioned insoles & padded Achille heels so definitely no rubbing or digging in on the heel. On top of that the pair I chose also have a concealed 1.5cm heel wedge, which makes them even more comfortable & perfect for running around in all day long. They've definitely got a thumbs up from me & are hands down the most comfortable pair of ballet shoes I own. So for my new shoes first 'official' outing I'm going with an all black number. Perfect for showing off their beauty & to finish the look I've teamed with my studded across body bag.
