Amalur Stud Detail Court Shoes
Morning ladies. Today I wanted to look at a brand you may or may not be familiar with & that's the company called And/Or. You may recall that I first featured them on my blog here & if you take a peek at their collection you'll soon see that the brand is built around the concept that great denim works with everything.
Of course most of us probably spend a good proportion of our time wearing denim as these days jeans just seem to work for everything. From casual days with a pair of distressed boyfriends, to busy doing days with trainers & of course glammed up with heels for a night out. They really can take you anywhere. In fact with all the different styles & colours around we've probably all got more pairs than we realise & can no doubt easily justify how we 'need' a certain different colour/style, which in itself is testamount to just how verstaile & easy to wear denim is.
One thing I love about the brand is that not only do they produce well cut & beautifully designed pieces of clothing, their items all have that extra bit of detailing that I love. Plus of course they sit slightly below the radar so instead of all those high street stores were you can instantly spot what someone's wearing & where they've bought it from with And/Or you're not going to be worrying about bumping into someone wearing the same thing as you. And it's always nice to be asked where you've bought something from & to be able to tell your girlfriends about a great new brand you've discovered.
John Lewis recently got in touch with me to see if I would be interested in featuring my favourite pieces from their latest collection. So today I've created 6 looks, which predominantly feature denim to showcase my 'must have' picks with suggestions on how I'd style them.
As you can see from the outfits I've put together they have a wide range of denim available from skinny, to biker, to boyfriend to wide legged, in fact you can see their full collection here. Plus they have some stunning statement shoes this season. I've only featured a handful of their designs but if like me you believe a statement shoe has the ability to transform a simple look then take a peek at the complete range here.
During the course of the coming weeks & months we're all probably going to be sporting some form of knitwear & jean combo. But just because we're having to layer up for warmth it doesn't mean we can't look stylish & put together. As you can see from the looks I've created above the brand have some great statement knits that will keep you warm & also look great. Plus for a night out you're never going to go wrong with a jeans & statement blouse combo, whether that be embroidered detailing or skinny jeans teamed with an oversized boho styled top. Just leave the neck ties undone to create a more flattering 'V' shaped neckline. Throw on some statement heels & bag & you'll look amazing.
