Celebrity Style Steal + WIW

Rosie Byrne

Morning ladies now I didn't feature a style steal last month as I never came across any outfits that particularly grabbed my attention but when I saw this image of actress Rosie Byrne I instantly knew this was a look that I & probably a lot of us would love.  Simple, easy, timeless style that can be dressed up or down & who doesn't love floating around in a dress instead of our normal denim & trainer combo?  Team with a biker jacket or classic single breasted coat not to mention a reefer style & you're good to go.

So how would I steal Rosie's style?  Well firstly the dress, this beauty is not only fairly similar to the dress Rosie's wearing but is also a fab price & due to it's collar also perfect for layering under a crew neck jumper for added warmth if required.  Or alternatively teamed with a chunky oversized cardi.

For the belt I've found this one, which is simple in style so won't distract from the pattern of the dress but would be perfect for adding shape & flattering your figure.

Then finally the boots.  Now Rosie has styled her's with a chunky lace up pair that are slightly rounded at the front, which if you're after similar then these might appeal but personally I'm really loving sock boots at the moment & have found my M&S ones so useful.  Mine have now totally sold out but the ones below are a great alternative & a good price, plus not too high a heel.

Needless to say I came across lots of gorgeous dresses whilst looking for something that was similar to the one Rosie is wearing so in case anyone is on the look out for a midi/maxi dress here's my pick of the best ones around at the moment (just click on any of the images for all the details).

Back to today & it's a simple look with a splash of leopard & by keeping the look neutral & adding a belt I've made my new Marks skirt look as if it's a dress.

So ladies are you a fan of dresses & layering & dressing them down for everyday or do you only wear them for special occasions, preferring the ease of a jeans & jumper combo?  How about my top picks, see any to tempt you to 'click that button'?  As always I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Don't forget if you're interested in the face & eye creams that I sell.  I'll be placing another order towards the end of this week so please just email me here for further information or if you wish to place an order.

Have a fab day & I'll be back in the morning.

  1. Any ideas how to style this kind of dress if you are 5ft 4inches and petite? They always swamp me and a belt just cuts me in half. Should I avoid them altogether?

    1. Hi I'd try picking a dress that has a fitted top half so you get some definition & shape without the need to wear a belt. Also perhaps think about wearing with block heeled boots to elongated & add height.
      Hope this helps.
