WIWT - Feeling Patriotic!

An early start for us this Saturday as we've got to drop our son at school for a three hour maths revision session (yup you can imagine his joy when the letter came home can't you?!!).  So we're taking advantage of the early start & getting our errands & shopping done & even hoping to fit a trip to the garden centre to get some bedding plants & veg for the garden.

Thought I'd wear my red jacket today with some distressed denim, a simple white top & trainers, which is how I envisaged wearing it from the moment I tried it on.

So anyone doing anything special today?  I'd love to hear what you're up to.  I'm hoping that this sunshine continues so I can grab a few hours in the garden this afternoon with a book but we'll see as I think I'm probably underestimating my 'to do' list!!

Whatever you're up to have a good one.

  1. Love this outfit, those distressed jeans have just the perfect amount of 'wear'. I'm busy sewing this weekend, making an outfit for a friend to wear to a wedding next month.

    1. Hi Sam & thank you.
Wow how amazing to be able to make an outfit from scratch. I haven't made anything since my GCSEs when I made a skirt but would love to be able to just knock something up on the machine. Your friend is lucky to have you.
      Have a lovely weekend.

Where on earth do you like to still be getting snow?! We had frost the other morning & whilst today started so well with glorious blue skies it soon clouded over :-(
      Have a lovely weekend.
