Now for those of you who haven't yet heard of Chanii B their shoes are not only available online (click here) but also in their store in Milsom Street, Bath too & if you're looking for shoes, boots, bags &/or accessories that are individual & hand crafted then look no further. As not only are all their products beautifully made from the highest quality European leather but each design is also only available in small quantities to ensure that every pair is a limited edition. Meaning no bumping into a whole heap of people rocking the same look - which is always a win win in my book!
However, I do feel you may need to be warned that once you click on their website you're going to be led into temptation as there are some seriously gorgeous shoes, bags & accessories that are going to tempt even the most strong willed individual, of which we all know I am not!!!
So onto the shoes......now over the past few months I've recently found myself being drawn to a brogue style shoe so when I spied Chanii B's Excuse Moi (don't you just love the name?) brogues it was simply love at first sight. Firstly because any true leopard print lover will no doubt tell you that anything of the pony skin variety is always going to get us going weak at the knees. But also when factored with my magpie element then of course the matt gold leather was just going to be the icing on the cake.
Plus of course being a total girl's girl I absolutely love the bright pink lining of the shoes - so girly & luxurious when compared to the normal black/non-descript colours of everyday shoes & the softness of the leather when I slipped these beauties onto my feet was just sheer bliss.
Whilst I'll admit to being slightly concerned that brogues of any kind would look too clumpy & manly these beauties do neither & look perfect when styled with both trousers & skirts, so an excellent alternative to the heap of ballet pumps in my wardrobe & what fashionista doesn't like to try a new look every now & again?!!!
So onto the styling. As I've mentioned in the past I love the initial trying on session of any new item in my wardrobe & the creating of different looks to see how said new purchase goes with clothing from my wardrobe & my new shoes were no exception, I absolutely love their versatility.
My first outfit to be paired with my new shoes was my Zara skorts & waterfall cardigan. I really love the dressed down casual feel & the way the splashes of gold in the shoe are picked up with my gold jewellery.

Long Sleeved T-Shirt -H&M
Necklace - Handmade
Bracelet - J Crew
Skorts - Zara

Of course it didn't take me long before I could resist throwing on a bit of Bet with my new beauties. So for style two I've teamed my H&M skirt with a leopard print scarf & to finish the look teamed the shoes with my new Zara cut away tuxedo.
Style Two
Tuxedo - Zara
Scarf - Zara

Dressing outfit two down slightly I swapped my tuxedo jacket for my leather biker in style three.

Then for style four I teamed the brogues with some boyfriend jeans & my double breasted jacket for a more casual vibe. I totally love this more 'manly' style for a totally different feel & look.
Style Four
Blazer - Zara
Shirt - Massimo Dutti
Bracelet - J Crew

Plus I couldn't believe my luck when I pulled out an old bag from Zara to discover not only was it made from pony skin but was also the exact same colour of my new shoes :-)

Finally for style five I've gone down the boyfriend feel again & teamed my wax effect jeans with my camel boyfriend coat & a simple polo neck - plain, simple & elegant.
Style Five
Boyfriend Coat - Zara
Polo Neck - Primark
Bracelet - J Crew
Wax Effect Jeans - Zara

Of course I could have gone on & on with my outfits as these shoes are so versatile & I'm looking forward to styling them with a loose casual styled black t-shirt dress teamed with my biker jacket not to mention my leather effect leggings, a shirt, sweatshirt & statement necklace.
However, if brogues aren't your thing then take a look at my quick selection of some of the other gorgeous shoes from Chanii B that are on my wish list.
I absolutely love these Chelsea style boots & love the splash of colour on the heels.
Chanii B Taille
Of course these leopard print flats are TOTALLY up my street & a real classic shoe to have in your wardrobe & no that's not just Bet talking ;-)
Chanii B Coquette Leopard
However, if like me you already own the odd one or two pairs of leopard print then how about these in Zebra print? Great for jazzing up a monochrome look.
Chanii B Coquette Zebra
Or for adding a splash of colour to an outfit what about fuchsia.....these would go perfectly with my new bag from Boden!
Channi B Coquette Fuchsia
Or for a more neutral colour that's going to go with most things in your wardrobe then how about these flat pumps that come in the most gorgeous gold shade. These would look absolutely stunning in the warmer months when our skin has gone a real not 'artificial' golden tone!!!
Channi B Lumiere
Still thinking (or could that be yearning!!!) of warmer months to come then these gorgeous peep toes would made a great addition for your wardrobe, after all taupe is such a classic colour & even I shouldn't trip over with these sturdy heels!!!
Channi B Bebe Taupe
Finally how about these shoe boots? I absolutely love shoe boots when teamed with a dress or skirt & I'm totally loving those glittery heels.

I still haven't worn my brogues which I bought before Christmas - too many other shoes to wear first. Dang. But I'll get there!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sue & I totally know what you mean in regard to not wearing shoes that you've brought...I seem to have invested in a fair few over the past few months that have yet to be worn but like you say we'll get there ;-) Jane xx
