New Outfit Post & Do You Have A 'Uniform'?

Wow this week seems to be on fast forward, I can't believe we're already on Thursday!!  Another busy one in the office today so I'm keeping it pretty simple & teaming my favourite grey jeans with a bolero style jacket.

Jacket - Next
Top - ASOS
Jeans - Zara
Boots - Oasis
Bracelets - Handmade

Now for my style steal I couldn't find the right coloured styled jacket to re-create today's outfit but I've found an equally stunning one in cream, which would look gorgeous when teamed with pale greys.

Styling A Bolero Jacket

Jacket - Mango £69.99
Top - ASOS £30
Jeans - ASOS £60

I think it's safe to say that while I don't have to wear an actual 'uniform' for work, the majority of my daily outfits are based around my own imposed uniform of jeans (be it boyfriend or skinny) teamed with a jacket & either a statement necklace or scarf to bring my look together.

For me this is a combination that works best for my job & lifestyle as well as meaning I'm able to wear the type of clothes I love & most importantly enjoy wearing.  Not to mention that it gives me a mix & match wardrobe from which I'm able to create different outfits......and this has got me thinking, do you have to wear a uniform for work to do you like me give yourself your own imposed wardrobe that fits with your lifestyle & day? Or maybe you don't have a particular look or style but prefer to swap & change between many?

I'd love to hear your thoughts.

See you in the morning.

  2. I don't think I have a style that I stick to. One day I do dresses because I feel girlie and the next boyfriend jeans and boots. I like having multiple personalities :-)!!!

    1. Lol Fiona. And yes I'd agree I suppose it's all down to what mood someone's in as to what they decide to wear on the day....oh & of course the good old UK weather!!!

  3. I have a uniform. It involves a range of breton tops and a couple of pairs of joggers! Other than that I can be found in my actual work uniform, hence I don't dress up much xx

    1. You can't beat a breton Sharron & of course one of the benefits of an actual uniform is not having to think about what to wear of a morning!!

  5. I prefer skirts & dresses for work & all spring/summer long. Winter I go with chinos or thick tights with dresses so yes I suppose I do have a uniform!

  6. It's funny isn't it Lou, I think when we stop to think about it we all definitely have a comfort zone that we stick to the majority of the time. Although it's always nice to wear something a little bit different every now & again too!
