What I'm Wearing Today - Off Out On An Adventure!!

Off on a bit of a mad adventure today & up & out at silly o'clock much to the disgust of our teenage son!!! But hey it's Bank Holiday weekend, the sun is shining & in view of all the chocolate that we are no doubt about to gorge on this weekend what better time than to head off to the Lake District for a family walk (dog included!).

In fact by the time most of you are perhaps raising an eyelid or two we will hopefully be starting our ascent!!  Now this isn't something we do very often as a family (the last major walk being just over a year ago at Malvern) but with the right amount of bribes (sweets, mini eggs (which having been kept in the fridge overnight I'm hoping won't melt).....maybe a sneaky Golden 'M' breakfast & fish & chips in the paper on the way home we're up for anything!!!

Of course seeing as this isn't my 'normal' activity for a Saturday I've had the age old dilemma of what to wear!!!!  I've obviously had to go for comfort & layers & here's what I finally decided on!!

Sweatshirt - Next
T-Shirt - Zara
Scarf - Zara
Jeans - French Connection
Pumps - Boden (will later be swapped for walking boots!!)

Shop my style here.

Casual Attire

Sweatshirt - Mint Velvet £39
T-Shirt - Next £8
Scarf - Zara £25.99
Pumps - Next £25

So wish me luck....this time tomorrow I may be so stiff that I con only be hand fed Easter eggs ;-)  Hope you're having a great Saturday.  I'd love to know what you've got planned, not to mention if you think I chose wisely for my day ahead & before you say it pumps are for travelling purposes only....sturdy walking boots will be worn I promise!!!

Of course I'm also wearing a jacket - any ideas what I've gone for?!!!  I'm going to leave you with that cliff hanger & reveal all tomorrow!!!.

See you in the morning.

    1. The Lake District is so gorgeous isn't it & in the sunshine even more beautiful. We have eaten sooo many treats today that I'm bound to feel guilty tomorrow, not of course that this will stop me sampling the odd Easter egg or two ;-)
      Have a great Easter too.
