A New Pair of Jeans & My OOTD

If you're anything like me you'll spend the majority of your days & your evenings too living in jeans.  So when JQ Jeans recently got in touch with me to see if I'd like to review a pair of their jeans I jumped at the chance.

In case you haven't heard of the brand they were established some 30 years ago & each pair of jeans are made in Italy.  The principle of the brand is to 'constantly innovate & develop fashionable & comfortable styles with a feminine fit', which seems to be everything a woman (well me at least!!) looks for in a pair of jeans - after all we seem to spend enough hours in them so they have to comfortable otherwise I for one am going to start getting niggly & that's not something anyone (especially the hubby or son) want to come across ;-)

Now JQ Jeans have a great selection of styles not to mention colours of jeans & I don't mind admitting I spend a good while oohing & ahhing over which pair not to mention colour to choose!!!  But in the end I decided to choose a pair of their Tech Stretch Tencel jeans which are a medium high waisted legging fit jean.

I found the jeans to be a great fit, tight on the leg to give a legging style fit & made from the softest & most comfortable denim ever!!! Plus they're a fabulous quality & being high waisted are ideal for tucking in my 'mummy tummy' too!

The colour I chose was Sevilla which is the most delicate soft shade of grey, a really versatile colour for going with a whole heap of colours including white, black, navy, pink, tan & yellow......I could go on!!!

So here's a couple of ways in which I plan to style my new babies, starting with teaming with my yellow blazer.

Blazer - Zara
Necklace - Zara £29.99
T-shirt - Zara
Clutch - Bought in Majorca
Bracelet - J Crew £95
Pointed Slingbacks - Next £26

And for a more casual laid back look I've rolled the legs of the jeans up & styled with a loose fit bohemian style top & metallic pumps.

 Top - Zara £39.99
Bracelet - J Crew £95
Pumps - Boden

The jeans even come with their own certificate!!!

And I just love the little bit of bling in the back tab.

Finishing with a quick picture of what I'm wearing today.

Top - H&M
Trousers - Zara
Leather Cuff - Banana Republic
Clutch - Gap
Sandals - Next

Shop my style.

Red & Cream

Top - H&M £29.99
Necklace - ASOS £15
Trousers - Zara £29.99
Clutch - Mango £29.99
Sandals - Next £30

So what do you think, do you likey?!!!!  Do you have a brand of jeans that you always go to as they give you everything you look for in a jean?  Perhaps you've heard of & already own a pair of JQ Jeans?  As always I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Have a great day, hope the sun is shining with you....I'm hoping at some stage the clouds part as it's currently really cloudy here & I could do with an hour in the sunshine, work permitting of course ;-)

See you in the morning.

  5. Love the colour but not so sure about the clinginess of them. I know they're supposed to be super tight fitted but still think there are better fitting ones out there.

    1. Hi as you say they are a tight fitting jean but if the style isn't to your taste you should have a look at their website as they do lots of different styles & fits & they are beautifully made.
