New Outfit Post & My Edit Of The Mango Sale

Happy TGIF!!!  Nothing can beat that Friday feeling can it?  Factor in the sales & hopefully sunshine & what more could you want?!!

Now I know I've featured Mango recently when they had a 30% off event but seeing as their sale started yesterday & I seem to have developed a love of all things Mango, I simply couldn't resist taking a peak at their up to 50% off sale.....well in my mind it would be rude not to ;-)

So here's my pick of items I haven't previously featured on the blog that I love & if I were to win the Euro Millions this evening (well you never know!!) I'd be buying in an instant - in fact some things somehow seem to have slipped into my basket already :-0

Starting with this camisole.  Now I brought a few camisoles last summer (can you believe I don't own a white one?!! Cue hitting the button).  Such a great top for wearing under a blazer or two, perfect for dressing up a pair of jeans when the weather allows & also perfect in the winter for special occasions although a glass or two of alcohol may be required to take the chill away ;-)

Obviously sizes are selling out, well it is sales season but if you can't find your size take a look at  John Lewis as there's more sizes & colours available there, in fact that goes for a lot of the items I'm featuring.

Sticking with tops & I love the simplicity of this crepe blouse, I've got a similar styled top in a few colours that I brought from Zara a couple of years ago & again they're great for dressing up or down & teaming under a jacket.  For dressing down I'd wear with distressed boyfriend jeans & court shoes & for dressing up a blazer, smart skinny jeans & a statement necklace.

Love this in the red, such a fabulous shade.

Plus the black is extremely useful & could even be used for work, so really multi-functional.

Or how about this taupe colour - lovely against denim.

For a top that's going to be more practical all year round then how about this crepe blouse.  As with the camisole & short sleeved top it's a hardworking number that can be dressed up or down & layered under a jacket or teamed with a scarf.  One of the tops that help fill the 'I have nothing to wear' holes.

Also available in black.

And royal blue.

This top appears to still be available in all sizes, my inner hippy is totally loving this & it would be perfect for teaming with a pair of denim shorts & panama for the summer holidays.

This next shirt is a great classic & one you could wear all year round.  I just love the pleated bib detailing.  How stunning would this look come the cooler months teamed with some faux leather skinny trousers/leggings & heeled ankle boots.

I've had my eye on this next skirt for a while now as I can see this really working with all my camisole tops for our summer holidays.  Plus it would be perfect for teaming with a denim jacket for cooler days at home, so again this may somehow be winging it's way to me as I type!

I'm sorely tempted by this jumpsuit, as I reckon due to its long sleeves it could be worn all year round.  Plus I love the shoulder detailing not to mention how they've styled it with the skater shoes.....seriously making me tempted to give them a whirl it has to be said!!

I couldn't do my pick of the sales without at least featuring a jacket as we all know I love them & seeing as I seem to have discovered a love of quilted patterned ones then this black & cream number is tempting me.  Again this looks like they have all sizes available, great for cooler summer days, I'm thinking of wearing one of my quilted jackets for travelling this summer as they don't crease but are nice & cosy for travelling as I always seem to be freezing on the plane & that's with all the air-conditioning turned off.  Plus teamed with a polo neck come the winter this style jacket could be a great addition.

Now I've been toying with the idea of a slim fitting longer length short for evening wear on our summer holidays so when I spotted that these babies had now been reduced to £9.99 I thought they were definitely worth a try.  They're available in three colours but my favourite have to be the black & navy.

I'm thinking I'd swap the belt with either a coloured one or perhaps keep it classic with tan.

Finally this maxi dress looks perfect for summer days & again teaming with a denim jacket in good old Brighty.  My inner hippy is totally loving the colours & pattern.

Finally here's my outfit for today.

  3. Funny - I have a sales post coming up tomorrow on my blog & Mango was up there with some of my choices. I love them so much. I have not ordered anything yet but that is mainly because the 2 dresses I wanted were out of stock in my size. The day is not yet over though....X

    1. Oh don't you just hate it when that happens Amanda, have you looked on ASOS, John Lewis & House of Fraser in case they have your size in stock? If not you could always ring round your local stores. Good luck tracking them down!

  8. Great outfit. I really like the bet shoes (and scarf) with the cobalt top. The combinations is fabulous. Yes, I definitely hit the Mango sale yesterday!!! I ordered 5 things (I'm so bad)- grey Eva jeans; a black dress; Camelia shirt; Cuki dress and a black blazer (as if I really needed another one! :)) I almost ordered 2 of your picks- the side slit crepe blouse (I love the simplicity of it) and the short sleeve crepe blouse in taupe but I held off. See, I have SOME self control (though not much ;-))
