Summer Dress Sales Bonanza & My OOTD

Yipee another Friday & the last of our son's GCSE exams today (the fact that he will then need to start revising for his mock GCSE exams next week is a fact we're choosing to ignore until after the weekend!).

Plus in celebration of the weekend (well at least I like to think so ;-) ) ASOS currently have 25% off selected dresses & seeing as we've only had glimpses of summer so far, it would be rude not to take a peak right?!!!  So here's my pick of the ones that are on offer.

Starting with dresses that I think would be perfect for beachwear.

I just love the colour of this Warehouse dress with the lace detailing on the shoulders and back.

And this Mango crochet number would look fab teamed with a tan & large straw beach bag.

This swing jersey dress also from Mango is the perfect 'throw it on' dress, which I find perfect for the beach & can't believe it's only £11!

Higher in price with this next dress but I love this & it would look fab teamed with a denim jacket on cooler days too not to mention if you're off to a music festival this summer.

Moving onto maxi dresses now, which are perfect for dressing up or down & this first dress I've already featured on my blog but with 25% off I just had to share it again!

I also featured this Mango dress in red on my blog last week when they had 30% off but it equally looks stunning in navy too.

Love one shoulder dresses & these maxi ones from ASOS for only £18.50 would be great for dressing up or down on your hols or of course if the summer ever arrives here!!!

Moving onto slightly smarter dresses now - great for teaming with heels & a blazer or for a more laid back look sandals & a denim jacket.  Can't believe this first dress, which I purchased a couple of months ago is now reduced....just hate it when I miss a discount!!

Naturally my inner Bet is screaming 'buy me' with this next dress!!!

Another great shift dress with a bit of detailing on the sleeves is this one from ASOS.

Love, love, love this lace mid skater dress & think this would look so elegant for a wedding but equally cool teamed with a denim jacket & converse for everyday too & such a great price!!!

Finally how about this shift dress (limited sizing in the blush colour), which again would look amazing for a wedding or special occasion.

Right back to today!  Busy day at work ahead for me & trying to get a few jobs done at the same time to free up some 'me' time for over the weekend.  Fancied wearing my favourite shade of red in celebration of the weekend with a sprinkling of Bet for good measure!

    1. Don't think it's going to be dress weather tomorrow Helen that's for sure.....now if we could just swap the ratio of sun & rain that we've been having you could wear your new dresses :-)
