The Boden Sale Has Started & New Outfit Post - Greys & Metallics

Just as I've resolved not to look/buy anything else in the sales the Boden sale starts & we all know that this is a fab time to purchase the odd item or two that you've had your eye on at fantastic discounts.  So without further ado I'm going in.......

First up I love this sarong.  Not only is it a gorgeous colour but I've got a bit of a weakness this summer for anything with pom pom edging so I'm hugely tempted.  Plus it looks a great size for a cover up for the summer hols, not to mention rather handy to protect areas that may have had a bit too much sun without having to cover your whole body.

Of course anything with leopard print is going to catch my eye but this scarf due to its colours will be fab for winter & autumn.  Plus who doesn't wear a scarf or two come the cooler months?!

I absolutely love my yellow clutch so if you're looking for a pop of colour to hold all your essentials you won't do better than this & the fact that it has a detachable strap is just another tick in my box.

As I've mentioned many a time I love this shade of green & think this jacket would look amazing with a simple white shirt, jeans & court shoes.

If you fancy a more relaxed styled jacket then this cream blazer looks stunning.  This would look amazing teamed with some boyfriend jeans or linen trousers & a simple cami for a elegant, stylish & comfy travelling outfit.

Love this striped tunic dress.  Just perfect for slipping over your bikini or swimsuit to head down to breakfast with some flat sandals.

I'm also tempted by this red jumper & think it would make a great addition for autumn/winter.  I'd love to style this with a fitted white shirt underneath with some distressed skinny jeans & new red leopard print court shoes.

I'm also loving this navy spotted shirt too, a great wardrobe classic no matter what the season.

If you haven't already invested in a pair of metallic flats you seriously should, I hardly seem to have taken my Next ones off my feet!!!

Thinking of summer holidays now & hopefully our continued good weather here, can you ever have enough classic fitted shirts for teaming with loose fitting shirts/boho tops on cooler days to camis/vest tops when its scorching?!

A great wardrobe classic next with this maxi dress, perfect for layering with a denim jacket for a casual day look or dressing up with a camisole, stunning belt & jewellery for evening.

Now I know I've already featured this skirt a few times on the blog but I just love it & it would look just as fabulous for winter teamed with a denim shirt & statement necklace.

If you want a colourful beach tunic then you won't go wrong with this beach throw, which when teamed with a traditional panama would look super stylish & chic.

Of course we all know how useful the odd stripe or two is, so if you fancy adding to your collection with these long sleeved bretons nows as good a time as any.

For those of us that have unleashed their inner hippy this summer then this Lola top looks a great little addition to the collection.

Also I'm still really tempted by the Sicily top, the only question is which colour to choose?!

And I still love the Cotswold top.  Originally I was leaning towards the green but not its the white but that could change!!!

Moving on to my outfit for today & I'm mixing greys, distressed denim, snake print & Bling.  I love various shades of grey mixed with denim & hopefully the texture & pattern in my bag will add that little bit of interest to an otherwise plain outfit.

  2. I went for the Bistro Crops - never had them before but I've heard so much about them I thought I'd give them a try. Finding trousers that aren't jeans that fit is a bit of a holy grail for me! There were loads in the petite sizes so I ordered several colours in 2 sizes (I find Boden trouser sizing can be very hit and miss) - we will see what survives when the parcel arrives! I also ordered the Navy hand crochet Chanel style Cardi / Jacket - tres chic!

  5. I have the bubblegum pink chino shorts which are great, just waiting to fit back into them now! Poor reduction though on the shorts, 10%. That's not a sale, hopefully come clearance in a week or so when it moves to up to 70% off the bits at 10% off will take another cut!
