Mint Velvet Press Day & WIWT

As with my Boden press day review I can’t believe I’m only just getting round to sharing my photos from Mint Velvet’s press day.   Again apologises that my pictures aren’t to the stand of David Bailey….again I think it’s safe to say that any profession or semi professional photographer isn’t going to be loosing any sleep tonight but hopefully you can get a taster of the sheer gorgeousness & understated glamour that Mint Velvet has to offer this coming winter.

Starting with their gorgeous jewellery.  I just love their simple, chic & delicate necklaces that look fab worn on their own or layered to make more of a statement, my favourite of which is the necklace shown in the bottom right.  I just love this & if it had been for sale on the day I’d have brought it there & then!

As you would expect from Mint Velvet there was a lot of understated timeless pieces plus lots of gorgeous faux fur that has got me longing for cool autumn days already!!!  I particularly love all their faux fur stoles & gilets with the faux fur snood shown in the second group of pictures (top right) being my absolute favourite & firmly on my wish list.  Together with the gorgeous clutch bag shown in the picture below plus of course many other pieces!!!

I just love the gorgeous detailing that Mint Velvet put into their clothing & this next set of pictures gives you a glimpse of how they give classic pieces a real twist & edge.  I love how the thick chunkiness of the cream polo neck is softened by the soft delicate cream lace shoulder detailing & how a simple pair of mid height heels have been given an edginess with the small stud detailing around the ankle strap & heel.

Colour wise there’s lots of navy & black as well as grey & pale pink palettes to look forward & if you’re on the hunt for a new leather jacket this winter then this stunning navy biker jacket with detachable faux fur collar has definitely got to be seen to be believed just simply stunning & is sure to be at the top of my wish list this Autumn……luckily I don’t own a navy leather jacket….black & tan yes but not navy so surely that’s all the reasoning *justification* a girl needs…..no?!!!!
