WIWT - New Shoes

So back to reality & the start of the karate run today, don't you just miss school holidays?!!!  Anyway it's got us up & out early, which isn't a bad thing as we've got a few errands to run as well as various jobs to complete before we enjoy a sneaky lunch a la deux.

My new shoes from Office arrived yesterday & I simply had to wear them today!  Very similar to the ones lots of bloggers have been raving about from New Look, however these babies are 100% leather.  I was extremely tempted by the New Look ones because of their price but I just knew that if my feet weren't comfortable no matter how gorgeous they were they'd end up sitting in the wardrobe looking pretty so I decided to pay a little bit more for these babies & I don't regret it.

Planning on a cosy night in with a celebratory dinner & a film (son's choice) as on Thursday we finally received the results for his first two GCSE's.  To say I could burst with pride that all his hard work has paid off is something of an understatement!

Have a fab Saturday.

    1. Aww thanks Imogen. I love wearing flats but sometimes with skirts/dresses I feel they can look a bit frumpy so am hoping these shoes will do the trick, as I'm going to try & wear skirts/dresses a little more this winter.

    1. Thanks Michelle, I haven't seen the New Look ones in real life but I think the only main difference is mine don't have a gold heel, which to be honest is something I can live without especially if they're more comfortable so I actually wear them!!

  4. Wow, those shoes are amazing, how's the comfort factor doing? I know what you mean about GCSEs, I could've cried when my daughter got her results in July! So proud :) x

    1. It's so lovely to see their hard work being rewarded isn't it Sarah. We've got the main set of GCSEs to go through this summer but at least he's got a good start & knows what to expect!
Have to admit the shoes were really comfy, the suede is super soft & having worn them all day I only had a very small amount of rubbing on my one toe & I have wide feet. I'd certainly recommend ;-)

  5. Looking good Jane! I have the New Look shoes and had to size down due to out of stock. I was tempted by the office ones but wanted the gold heel x

    1. Thanks Abbi. That's great to hear the New Look ones are really comfy too, I'd just made the presumption they wouldn't be as they were such an amazing price!

  7. Thanks Kareema, I've made that mistake in the past with shoes so am trying to make sure I don't do it again! Some shoes you can get away with but seeing as I have wide feet & this are particularly pointed with lots of straps/lacing I just thought it wise.
