What I've Been Buying In September & My OOTD

I know I say this every month but it hardly seems that long since my last monthly confessional, although if I dare say it myself I think I may have been just a little bit more restrained than normal as can you believe it I haven't even brought a jacket!!!! Shock, horror!!!!  The fact that I have enough jackets to wear a different one each day of the month is of course something that I will TOTALLY overlook when I no doubt fall in love with a jacket over the coming weeks but for now I'll polish just a fraction of my halo!

Of course this first item I've already confessed to.  I just couldn't resist these pointed flat strappy numbers, which are going to look fab with jeans, skirts, dresses.....in fact everything in my wardrobe plus the fact they were a fraction of the price of Laura's from What I'm Wearing was a HUGE bonus!

I've also already confessed to this gorgeous scarf too.  Such a fab splash of hot pink to go with my new obsession.  In fact I love it so much it's already been brought out to play & it's going to be great for brightening up a wet, damp & dark day.

Now I love a sweatshirt & having downgraded my old grey one to slobbing out gear I was on the hunt for a grey marl one & as soon as I saw this textured one from Zara I just knew it was 'the one'!  In fact so much so that again this has already been worn!

I also really fancied a pair of grey smart/casual trousers for Autumn & these Zara ones are perfect.  I love how they've been styled in the picture below with white trainers - just effortlessly cool.

Plus I just couldn't resist this shirt dress, which I have to say looks a LOT better on than in does in the picture below!

Of course this tusk pendant from Wallis has also had it's first couple of outings & I managed to secure for just over £8, a fab buy that looks a LOT more expensive.

Also I just couldn't resist this lace fronted jumper, which is also from Wallis.  I love the lace detailing which is going to look great dressed down with a white shirt underneath, some distressed jeans & black court shoes as well as it will with either my faux leather skirt or trousers.

I just couldn't resist these Boden beauties when Boden recently had their 20% off offer......I mean really it would have been rude not to ;-) they're simply stunning!

And finally of course there was my Mango haul......well it would of been rude not to take advantage of the 30% discount & it could have been a LOT worse let's be honest as despite ordering a few bits & pieces I only kept two items!

Firstly these boots, which as I mentioned yesterday I'm loving for that bit of detailing, pointed front & block heel to give height but not too much to mean I'm worried about falling over.  Plus they fit nicely on the ankle so will go with pretty much most things in my wardrobe :-)

And secondly this lovely 'V' neckline blouse, which is perfect for dressing up some simple distressed denim not to mention a great neckline for wearing under a blazer or two!

Finishing with what I'm wearing today & the boots are on again!
