A New Blazer & My OOTD

Now we all know I love a blazer or two, so when Gemini-Woman recently got in touch asking if I'd like to style a jacket from their new Sandwich Clothing collection I didn't hesitate in saying yes (in fact I don't think I drew breath ;-) ).

The jacket they've sent me is this stunning two toned grey striped number that is longer in length than your normal blazer & has a lovely tweed type of weave/texture but is still beautifully soft & supple.  It's made from 90% cotton & 10% polyester & is available in sizes XS (UK8), S (UK10), M (UK12), L (UK14), XL (UK16) & XXL (UK18) & I would say is true to size.

The beauty of this jacket is that being grey it's going to go with a whole heap of colours - denim, navy, black, greys, white, red, hot pink, yellow you name it so is a great wardrobe staple.  I immediately thought about styling my jacket with a simple dark grey large scarf, white shirt, distressed denim & grey ankle boots.

Boots - Oasis (similar here)

But of course it will equally look fab teamed with faux leather leggings, black silk shirt & heels for a night out not to mention a little black dress or even with a splash of colour or a spot of pattern clashing & some leopard print.

In fact I just had to wear it again today teamed with all black.

Blazer - Gemini-Woman
Jumper - Zara
Skirt - Zara
Boots - Mango
Bag - Wallis

Monochrome & Stripes

Jumper - Zara £19.99
Skirt - Zara £25.99
Boots - Mango £99.99
Bag - Wallis £59

So what do you think?  Are you loving the longer length blazer?  I really like the fact that it feels something a little bit different to all my other jackets hanging in my wardrobe & in fact it has a slight mac feel due to it's length.  I also plan to team it with a faux fur stole now the weather has turned cooler too.

So are you a fan of longer length jackets & if so how to you wear yours?  Perhaps you're a fan of Sandwich Clothing & have already shopped their new season drop?  As always I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Have a fab Sunday, we're supposed to be getting a visit from BT this afternoon to fix our slow internet speed.....something I have to admit I'm not overly hopefully of as who knew they did Sunday appointments?!  Still I'm quite happy to flop on the sofa & have a sneaky snooze whilst we wait ;-)

Finally in case you've got your eye on a little treat or two not to mention a bit of Christmas shopping Boden have 25% plus free postage & returns with code 'F2J7' from today until Thursday click here to start shopping!

  1. Ooooh that's gorgeous, I much prefer longline blazers on me! I blummin wish BT would sort out our incredibly slow, sometimes non-existent, internet - it took me two hours to do a blog post that should've only taken 20 minutes the other day because our connection kept disappearing, grrrr!! ;)
