New Outfit Post - Greys, Pleather & A Trilby

First day of the holidays here but no lie-in as we're making a mad dash to the shops to try & beat the crowds before rushing back to drop our son off at his last karate lesson for 2014 :-)

Keeping things simple & layering up my oversized white shirt from the summer with a chunky knit polo neck & my pleather leggings.  I may even throw on my Mint Velvet gilet for an extra layer if I'm cold.

Shirt - Zara
Jumper - Zara
Hat - Zara
Leggings - Zara
Boots - Clarks

Mohair, Pleather & A Trilby

Shirt - Next £36

Hoping to have a sneaky snooze later as I've been awake with an overactive mind since 2 this morning & we're off out to quiz night at the local club tonight.  How about you, what are you up to today?  Anyone last minute Christmas shopping?

Have a fab day & if you want to learn a little bit more about my thoughts on fashion, then click here as I've been lucky enough to be featured on Fabulous After 40!

Will post my outfit tonight on Instagram.  See you in the morning.

  1. What a great article, and I love today's outfit! I am slightly concerned as I somehow haven't reached the overactive mind stage yet - I've got a houseful on Christmas day so I need to pull my finger out and start worrying about what they're going to eat!!

Today will be all about relaxing now that the kids have finished school - the calm before the storm!! Have a good one!

    1. Thanks Becky & I hope you had a lovely relaxing day. Don't you just love days when you've got nothing on & it's all about doing nothing.....just bliss!

I'm rapidly approaching the big 4-0 (February) and your style is similar to mine so I'm finding lots of fabulous outfit inspiration.

    1. Hi Sara & thank you so much for your lovely comment. I think my 40th birthday has to have been my best one (although I do love every birthday it has to be said!). Have you get anything planned for your special day?!
      Have a wonderful Christmas too.

    1. Ooh yes you should definitely purchase a hat Laurie, I bet hats look amazing on you. Have you narrowed the options down or are you still trying on? I can really see you in a trilby if that helps!
      Have a wonderful Christmas too.

Sadly I didn't manage my cheeky snooze but we had a fantastic night - not sure where we ended up in the quiz but there was lots of fun & laughter so perfect!
Hope you're having a great weekend.
