Styling A Christmas Jumper Plus New Outfit Post - Layering A Boho Dress

Not only is it my favourite day of the week, I also break up for a 3 day weekend today AND it's my birthday tomorrow!!! Whoop, whoop, whoop :-)

Now before I show you what I'm wearing, I thought it might be fun to show you how I'd style a Christmas jumper.  After all thanks to Bridget Jones this seems to be a trend that seems to be going from strength to strength with more & more people either donning them for a Christmas works do or wearing them Christmas Day.

Of course they're quite limiting in the amount of times you can wear them, so for a stylish & reasonably priced jumper I'd suggest heading to George as they have a great choice, at great prices.  Plus with some of their Christmas jumpers you can polish your halo & help raise £750,000 for Save The Children, as 6% from the sale of these jumpers will be donated & you can even get an extra chance to wear your jumper by joining in the fun on the 12th of December for Christmas Jumper Day!

Here's how I'd style my Christmas jumper.....naturally I couldn't resist picking one with a bit of bling ;-)

Styling A Christmas Jumper

Biker Jacket - Zara £59.99
Jeans - Zara £29.99
Clutch - John Lewis £39
Boots - Boden £119

And here's what I'm wearing today.  Keeping things simples & wearing my Zara dress with my Rachel Wears oversized cardi & adding a splash of red with my cross body bag.

Cardigan - Rachel Wears
Hat - Zara
Dress - Zara
Bag - Zara
Boots - Seven Boot Lane

Accessorising A Boho Dress

Cardigan - Rachel Wears £135
Hat - Hush £40
Dress - Zara £29.99

So will you be donning a Christmas jumper this year?  Have you already got yours sorted or are you still on the look out?!  Plus how are you styling yours?!!  I'd love to hear.

Right off to try & concentrate on work, then a pre-birthday lunch with my Mum before getting back to work & hoping I can break up on time tonight!

Happy Thursday :-)

  1. There's only one Christmas jumper for me - the Topshop Bella Freud tribute. However, as it's £42, and I'd probably only wear it once, I'll be passing on this particular trend!
Have a fabulous day tomorrow - happy birthday!

    1. Aww thanks Becky....I'm sooo excited!!! I've yet to purchase a Christmas jumper but like you say due to the amount of time I'd wear one it would have to be reasonably priced which is the great thing about these jumpers from Asda. In the meantime I'm happy to partake in all the bling!
