Christmas Wish List/Gift Inspiration Part II & WIWT

Following on from my beauty/perfume wish list (click here), today I thought I'd feature some of the lovely accessories currently around, of which I'm secretly hoping one or two might find their way  under the tree on Christmas morning ;-)

Now I don't know about you but I'm always on the look out for stunning jewellery that's that little bit different & will make a statement to the simplest of outfits.  So when I spotted these watches a few months ago I thought they'd make the perfect classic & stylish addition to any outfit.  I just love the oversized face & the fact they do so many different colour combinations & designs, plus at £75 they're not going to break the bank & they seriously look a lot more expensive in real life.  So Santa a.k.a. hubby here's just a selection of my favourite ones....I'm leaving it up to you to choose which colour as I love them all!

I also love jewellery that's personalised & contains a message that's special to you.  This grey & rose gold double wrap leather bracelet is gorgeous.  How lovely would this be with the initials of your children & again something that little bit different that will create an understated but elegant wow factor to your outfit.

Of course I don't think there's many mothers that wouldn't love a daily reminder of their children's love.  So this keyring is perfect & something not too expensive for your little (or not so little one seeing as my son now towers above me!) cherubs to buy with their pocket money.  Plus on those days where you can do no right it would be a great thing to flash at them & remind them what they gave you for Christmas ;-)

I presume a lot of you will know of the 'Guess How Much I Love You' children's book written by Sam McBratney.   Well with a frustrated wannabe astronaut hubby & our son growing up this book was read a lot & has a really special place in all our hearts.  In fact the phrase 'love you to the moon & back' has become our family saying so anything with this on is always going to be treasured & it can even be customised with your own chosen initials.

This heart engraved bracelet also looks lovely & would be perfect for wearing on it's own or layered with others.  Again simple, timeless & elegant, you really can't go wrong.

Onto something fun with these pom pom key rings.......I totally blame my hot pink obsession, not to  mention love of pom poms on the ASOS clutch bag I brought in the summer.  How cool would this look used either as a keyring or hanging from your bag.  Surely something this bright & fluffy would brighten the dreariest & coldest of January mornings?!

Although I'm also liking the idea of these neutral ones as well, so much so I'm thinking at least a couple are needed to mix & match ;-)

And whilst we're on the pom pom track, what about these for wearing on the school run or in the snow.......I just love these plus they're available in 11 different colours......naturally I'm torn between the in your face hot pink or more subdued grey......what's your favourite colour?

Of course I couldn't do a wish list without it containing just a little bit of 'Bet' could I?!  So for any fellow leopard print lovers these iPhone cases are just puuurfect ;-)  Any guesses which colour I received for my birthday?!!

Or if you prefer an actual case for your phone as opposed to a cover then this one from Mint Velvet is certainly going to look stunning.

Having put my pink stripped welly socks on for bonfire night this year I've discovered that I'm in desperate need of a new pair as my big toe sticking through is so not cool.  And seeing as this pair from Boden come in packs of two & feature a pink pair then these would do very nicely thank you!

Finally due to working a lot from home & trying to be good & not have the heating on all day when it's just me, I do love a hottie bottle.  So much so that I'm in need of a new one.  Personally I love one with a faux fur cover for that extra cuddle factor & perfect for placing in the middle of my back to keep me toasty (how old do I sound?!!!!).  So this John Lewis one is top of my list.

Or maybe this one......after all isn't every day a 'Bet'-tastic day?!!!

Finishing with what I'm wearing today.

So there you have it my wish list of all the various accessories I'd love to wake up to Christmas morning.  Of course even I know that I haven't been that good to expect all these beauties under the tree but maybe, just maybe I might discover I've made it onto the 'good' list & find one or two of these babies waiting for me *crosses fingers & emails hubby* ;-)

So how about you what's on your wish list.  Do you love receiving accessories or would you rather find clothes under the tree?!! I personally find that with accessories theres no worry about if you've got the right size which eliminates that mad dash Boxing Day morning to try & get hold of the correct size before it sells out in the sales (yup been there done that & most certainly got the t-shirt!!!).

As always I'd love to hear your thoughts & find out what you're hoping for this Christmas.....not long to wait now!!!

And for those of you Christmas shopping don't forget Boden currently have up to 40% off selected items click here & quick heads up as House of Fraser have a flash sale on of up to 40% off with an additional 10% off selected items click here - offer starts 5pm tonight!

Have a fab Sunday, I'm off to make the most of my birthday weekend & yup chocolates, bubbles & birthday cake are featuring high on the list of items to be consumed today!

See you tomorrow.

  1. LOVE the grey pom pom hat, I just bought a similar one in beige and I can't leave the furry bit alone! Some beautiful things here from a few labels I've not heard of before which I'm sure will need further investigation! I have few bits from Fossil (my absolute fave for jewellery) on my Christmas list so fingers crossed Santa comes up with the goods :-))

    1. Becky I so agree with you I can't stop stroking faux fur as soon as I see it & is probably one of the main reasons the hats & keyring appeal so much plus they just make me want to smile, which can only be a good thing!
Hope you get what you wish for Christmas morning....not long to wait!
