What I've Been Buying In February & WIWT

Gosh these monthly confessions sure creep up quickly don't they?!!  Obviously I haven't not been able to make a purchase or two.....well I wouldn't be me would I if I didn't try & at least keep the British economy going not to mention Zara's profits!!!  Plus with new season items hitting the shops at alarming rates it's hard not to get carried away isn't it?!

So what did I buy this month?  Well mainly tops, starting with this simple but very sexy one, which has a lovely deep 'V' neckline (but not deep enough to have to worry about my bra showing - or anything else for that matter!!) & I just love the ruffled cap sleeves.  Such a great top for wearing under a jacket or two not to mention simply teaming with some jeans & my Office shoes.

With a 10% voucher burning a hole in my pocket I just couldn't resist these long line shirts from H&M.  Perfect for wearing over my faux leather leggings not to mention great as a beach cover up too!  Plus the fact that I've already worn both several times already shows they're going to be great wardrobe staples.

H&M Long Shirt £14.99

Oh & of course I couldn't resist this wardrobe classic ;-0

This next top is a little shorter than I normally wear but as soon as I saw this stunning blouse on Laura over at Wearing It Today I thought it would be perfect for dressing up with a pair of jeans & teaming with heels & a fabulous clutch for an easy night out look.

And finally something that is so not me but I just know it's going to prove useful on those days where you feel like you've got nothing to wear!  Plus of course it's a nod to the 70s trend that is HUGE for SS15.  Last summer I bought a similar camisole styled top & got so many compliments on it that I simply couldn't resist this long sleeved version.

Finishing as always with my outfit for today.  A simple Zara shirt dress that I bought last year & have simply removed the belt for a more casual vibe.  It's the most stunning shade of navy which I love teaming with a few gold pieces of jewellery.

See you tomorrow.

  2. Great haul - I tried the Zara printed top as I loved it on the hanger but it did not love my big boobs - I looked pregnant! I'm sticking with nipped in jackets - much more flattering on my frame! x
