I don't know about you but there's so many gorgeous SS15 collections out there tempting me with all their lovely new offerings that I seem to be drooling on a daily basis. One brand that seems to really be on form this season is Hush Homewear. I can honestly say that if I won the lottery I'd quite happily order one of everything of their new collection.
Hush really came onto my radar last summer when I was lucky enough to be sent a few pieces to style but if you haven't shopped at Hush or heard of the brand before what I really love about them is that they make stylish classic pieces with an on trend theme that are perfect for mixing with items already in your wardrobe & can so easily be dressed up or down - making them great hard working pieces to own. Plus they're also just one of those brands that I could quite happily live in.
So today I thought I'd share with you what's on my wish list but be warned you may want to make yourself a cup of tea & get comfy as I've found it extremely difficult to choose, as like I said above I love everything & this is only just a small sample of their beauties.
So let's start with their dresses - all perfect for dressing up or down not to mention layering with a denim jacket & a few simple delicate gold chains.
First up is their Ascot dress that has the most lovely detailing in the mix of the two fabrics together with the dipped hem.
As you can see from the Astrid dress below, their dresses are perfect for teaming with a pair of sneakers for the school run but would equally look stunning with a pair of wedges for a night out, whether this be metallics or a classic tan & would be perfect teamed with a matching clutch.
Now we all know how useful & versatile a denim dress is & I've already featured this shirt dress on the blog. I just love how you can team it with a simple tee underneath as shown in the picture for injecting a spot of colour.
Next up is this lovely simple 'V' neck shift dress. I love how it's been styled below & for cooler days can also see if looking perfect with either a denim jacket or biker.
How perfect would this maxi dress be come the hotter months & summer holidays? You really could simply just throw this on & go & again it would look amazing with a denim jacket.
Moving onto this denim skirt next - I just love everything about this outfit - simple, stylish & cool equals perfection in my book.
Talking of effortlessly cool how about these trousers. Once again I'm loving the styling & they'd go with so many different styles of jackets - biker, quilted & of course denim as shown below.
Now you can never have enough denim in your wardrobe can you & whilst I haven't tried these on these boyfriend jeans look pretty amazing for rocking the effortless glam look.
And the same goes for this trench coat. Once again I find myself wanting to copy everything about this look.
Now we all know I love a jacket or two & a knitted jacket is perfect for a more relaxed vibe come the warmer months & Hush have got some lovely choices to tempt you/me.
Not to mention this lovely jersey blazer.
Or for a more relaxed vibe this military jacket.
Being a lover of jackets one thing you can never have enough of is stylish simple tops like these silk tees. Just perfect for wearing either under a jacket or dressed down with some boyfriend jeans & layered with jewellery.
And the same goes for these vest tops too, a great alternative to a cami.
And this lovely 'V' necked top would be super useful too. I really don't think you can have enough of this kind of top.
Of course come the warmer days denim shorts totally come into their own & I love both the shade of denim & fit of these.
Plus of course you can never have enough stripes in your wardrobe either & this black & cream one is a great alternative to the standard navy & cream.
Finally finishing with accessories, we all know I love a pom pom or two & I've previously featured these stunning scarves on the blog but they really would make an outfit when teamed with a plain tee & a pair of jeans.
Of course if you love a pom pom scarf you're going to need a pom pom clutch yes?!! I bought a similar bag last summer & it really came into it's own on our summer holidays not to mention for nights out with the girls.
But ladies I've saved the best to last, take a peek at this stunning glitter clutch just gorgeous & it really would go with everything......this is definitely on the top of my wish list.
Now I've been lucky enough for Hush to kindly send me three items from their latest collection & as you will have seen from the above, it was an incredibly hard choice deciding what to pick. In the end I went for items that I think are going to be perfect for dressing up or down - for wearing at home & on holiday & are wardrobe classics that will never date.
So what did I choose? Well first up their stunning Triangle Dress, which really is a lovely simple shift dress that is even nicer than I dared hoped it would be. The fabric has a lovely texture to it with adjustable straps & a stunning neckline not to mention pockets, which we all know are highly useful. I've styled it below with a simple denim jacket, nude ankle boots & layered a couple of necklaces but it would look equally stunning on holiday teamed with either a simple pair of flat sandals or wedge heels & has already made it onto my holiday packing list. In fact I love it so much I'm tempted to order the black too.

The second item I chose was their Avignon Trousers in Slate Blue, which as you will see from the below picture are more grey than blue. A great fit not to mention style with the three quarter length & elasticated cuffs being perfect for teaming with flats & trainers. Again perfect for teaming with both a biker or denim jacket & if you've got a long haul flight planned for this year's summer holidays they'd also make stylish travelling trousers.

Of course having a major weakness for jackets I just had to pick one of their knitted jackets as my third choice & to my delight the trim is the perfect match to my new trousers. In fact I love both the jacket & trousers so much I simply couldn't resist wearing them today!

So have you made a purchase or two at Hush recently? If so I'd love to know what's made it into your basket or if not what's tempting you to click the button. Let alone whether its one of your go to brands? Or if you've yet to purchase from them, what you think of their collection.
As always I'd love to hear your thoughts.
Have a fab Sunday & don't forget today's the last day of Boden's 20% off selected items see here & use code W4W3.
Oh I love most of those items! I was looking at the knitted cropped jacket yesterday as one of the lovely ladies on A57 had it on but can't decide which colour. Is the red one 'red' or a pinky colour? Also may have to purchase the denim shorts. And after hunting for a denim jacket for the past week yours looks just what I'm after-cropped and pale blue! Perfect! Is it current zara? Have a great day! Nicola
ReplyDeleteHi Nicola, I could quite easily order all three of the knitted jackets as they're just stunning & such a lovely alternative to a more formal blazer. I'd describe the red as a coral based red if that helps.
DeleteSorry my denim jacket is a couple of years old but Hush do a similar one or if you want something a bit different have you seen the Boden frayed round neck one?
Hope you've had a fab weekend.

P.S. Do Hush ever have discount codes? Could soften the blow as I can see a spending spree coming soon. X
ReplyDeleteHi Nicola yes they do but apart from free delivery I think that's the only one available at the moment although they do have offers on multi buys on their tops. If I hear or see a code I'll post it across all my social media so you can see it as it's always nice to save a penny or two!

Love all 3 bits you have chosen Jane but the triangle dress is going straight to the top of my wish-list! Oh and i think I may *need* the glitter clutch in my life.....how gorgeous?! Happy Sunday Jane! :0) xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Michelle the triangle dress is a beaut & as for the glitter clutch well I'm trying to think of an excuse to click the button!

Um yeah, thanks for sharing Jane - not! I now want those trousers (plus those camo joggers - how cool!), the pom pom scarf and all those coats ....... and I'm not shopping at the moment......arrrrrgh! You're so mean for showing such lovely items to tempt me! x
ReplyDeleteLol Natalie these are just some of the goodies too - I could literally order one of everything! It's such a great collection isn't it?!

Very jealous of your white triangle dress, it's gorgeous! Good pick on the denim skirt, I thought I'd left mine behind a few years ago but it seems they are coming back in xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Jane, I can't wait to wear it on holiday not to mention when the weather heats up a bit more here. Yup denim skirts are definitely making a bit come back & Hush have styled theirs perfectly!

Great 3 picks Jane (I was lucky enough to get to pick 3 pieces myself to review - I have picked 3 different pieces which are on back order - can't wait for them to arrive) the trousers are great, I got last year's version and I wear them lots, they are my at home relaxing pants. The cardi/jacket I nearly ordered, very Chanel like and it goes with your style perfectly. The dress is a summer classic, will look perfect on your holidays. xx
ReplyDeleteOoh I can't wait to see what you picked Annemarie. I just know all three pieces will slot perfectly into my wardrobe & get lots of wear.

Hi Jane,
ReplyDeleteI have just started reading your blog and love your styling ideas. I have a couple of questions, and I hope you don't mind my asking them. The first is what height are you? I ask as I love the hush dress you selected but I am 5' I and I don't want it too short.
Secondly, where did you get your coloured rings? They are gorgeous?? 😄 L
Hi Looo glad you're enjoying the blog & I'm more than happy to answer your questions :-)
DeleteI'm 5'7" so the dress would probably come somewhere either on your knee or just below plus it also had adjustable straps so you could always move one of the buttons to make the length perfect for you.
As for the rings I purchased these in Majorca. If you want to send me an email (mymidlifefashion@gmail.com) I'll let you have their contact details as I've got the designers email address.

Great picks Jane! I adore Hush also... Have ordered those Avignon trousers so it's lovely seeing how you've styled them... I think I need that knitted jacket now...off for a closer look! Ax
ReplyDeleteThanks Avril, I'm looking forward to seeing how you style the Avignon trousers. They're so comfy & light I think I'm going to be living in these this season.

I love Hush! That's so funny though - I was going to comment that I could definitely see you in the triangle dress and the Avignon trousers and then there you were! Great choices. Lynne xx
ReplyDeleteThat's really funny Lynne you obviously know me too well! Hush is just on fire at the moment with all their stunning SS15 pieces aren't they?!
