New Outfit Post - A Biker & Joggers

Happy Friday ladies :-)  I had a lovely day in London yesterday at the various press days & of course a very quick spot of shopping ;-) but it's back to reality today & my 'day' job.  So keeping things nice & simples for a busy day in the office catching up from yesterday & attempting to clear the inbox before the start of the weekend!

A quick heads up on a new moisturiser that I've been using.  Now I've had a few requests to share my skincare & make up routines - which is on the list of blogs to do (pinky promise!) but in the meantime I thought I'd quickly tell you about a great new face cream I've recently discovered.

I was lucky enough to be contacted by Vichy to see if I'd be interested in trying their new Liftactiv Supreme face cream.  Naturally I said yes purely out of interest but if I'm honest not expecting it to make much of an impact from my existing cream.

Before I share with you my thoughts on the cream let me tell you a bit about the cream.  Firstly the cream comes in two versions one for normal to combination skin & the other for dry to very dry skin & has been designed to be intensely moisturising & to combat the signs of ageing.  So nothing new there then!  But on top of that it utilises rhamnose a natural anti-ageing ingredient that not only targets the signs of ageing but also firms & boasts radiance whilst brightening a tired & fatigued complexion.  Plus its paraben free & hypoallergenic.  The company even go as far as to say that it 'creates an instant soft-focus appearance with an incredible smoothing effect'.

I've now been using the normal to combination skin version for four weeks & have to say I was a bit anxious at first about using a face cream that is described as intensely moisturising as I'm not one to love heavy creams on my face & don't like the feel of cream if it doesn't sink in immediately.  But this moisturiser is lovely & light & really does soak into the skin instantly so I didn't feel as if I was wearing it & a little really does go a long way.

As to the appearance of my skin I would say it has definitely made an impact, in fact I felt I saw a difference in a matter of days. But most importantly my husband (not having read nor having been told that I was using the face cream or the claims it came with) commented that my skin looked softer, smoother & more youthful with a glow.  Which to me says it all & for the hubby puts him in my good books that he said such lovely things about my skin & more importantly that he's even noticed!  So I think it's safe to say I'm now a convert!

So has anyone else tried this pot of magic or heard great things about it?  I'd love to hear your thoughts but based on my experience I'd definitely recommend it & am most certainly going to be continuing my daily application.
