Breaking out a bargain top I managed to get in the Zara sale last week when I popped into Birmingham with my son. It's a little bit different to my normal tops in that it's patterned but has the most lovely detailing, which is hidden by my blazer in the picture. Plus as it was the only one on the rail & in my size I just couldn't resist & at £15.99 quite frankly it would have been rude not to ;-)
I've gone for quite a smart look today & teamed the top with my tuxedo blazer, cigarette pants & then dressed the look down slighly by adding my trainers.

A few errands to run this morning along with the normal karate run & Saturday chores then treat food & a film tonight.
So I mentioned the other day that I'd been really good with the old sales shopping.....well that was until Marks & Spencer launched 20% off their full priced womenswear, menswear & homeware & I may have made a sneaky purchase or two......purely just to try of course ;-) Seeing as there's still 20% off until the end of today (see here) I thought I'd share what I've ordered.
First off I've been toying with the idea of a swimsuit for our summer holidays & as soon as I saw this one I just knew I had to give it a go. It looks perfect from the pictures - monochrome, stylish, either halter neck or strapless so no unwanted strap lines & far more expensive than £26......fingers crossed it looks as good in the flesh!

Now I spotted this jacket a few weeks ago & having found my Mango quilted pattern jackets extremely useful I just couldn't resist clicking the button on this beauty as for starters it contains my favourite colour - hot pink. Hubby is hoping I don't love it, I am hoping otherwise ;-)
And finally I'm always on the look out for a simple white summer dress & this one looks lovely - simple, classic, elegant & available in three different lengths.....I''m thinking this will look stunning teamed with a denim jacket & tan sandals or a simple panama on hotter days so have ordered in the shorter length.
Anyone else taken advantage of Marks' 20% off?! If you have I'd love to hear what you've been buying.
Have a fab Saturday :-)
Love this look, if I could wear trainers to work, I would wear a combination of this outfit daily. I love my stan smiths, In other news I might have done a little bit of sale shopping, Boden 40% off was to good to miss. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm still surprised at how much I love trainers Lotty but I think once you've tried them the comfort factor gets you every time! Can't wait to see what you've bought in the Boden sale.

So far I've steered clear of the sales Jane but just seeing this fan little tops means I want to take myself straight off to Zara! I'm going in to town with my mum on Friday so I hope I get lucky with a bargain or 2! Hopefully there will be enough time to have a mooch around M&S too! xx
ReplyDeleteYou've done well Michelle....fingers crossed you find a bargain or two on Friday!
