It's that time of the month again where I join forces with four other lovely over 40 ladies to show how we each interpret our style to a particular theme.
This month it was the turn of the beautiful Dixie to choose & she picked white/cream lace, which is just perfect for summery days.
Lucikly for me I have a few items of clothing that fitted the topic perfectly including a lovely new maxi dress & the white lace tops I've recently invested in (see here) but in the end I decided to style an old off white top from Zara as I just love neutral lacey tops teamed with denim. Plus this is the kind of top you can literally throw on & go.
I've decided to keep the look pretty dressed down & laid back & have simply paired it with my Mint Velvet jeans, which I've turned up for a mroe relaxed vibe & accessorised with some simple studded neutral sandals & my Hipanema bracelet.

Fabulous outfit as always Jane! I love your style and find lots of outfit inspiration from your blog and love how you introduce new brands and discount codes - you are a star!. This is totally random, but as a huge Zara fan perhaps you can answer my question lol! Everytime I buy Zara shoes online I set off the alarms in every shop I go into! Now I know they produce their shoes with security tags in the sole (which they obviously deactivate when you purchase in store), but the past two pairs of shoes I have purchased online have driven me mad. Having recently purchased the 'bobble' sandals worn in your photo I now face the prospect of having to take them to my nearest Zara to have them deactivated. I wouldn't go through the aggro of buying their shoes if I didn't love them so much! Am I the only person with this problem.........?
ReplyDeleteHi & thank you for such a lovely comment - you've made my day :-)
DeleteAs for the Zara shoes I've not had this problem....although have experienced this with their bags until I noticed they had small labels sewn inside that contained security tags so always cut these out just in case. The only thing I can think of with the shoes is have you removed the red round labels from the soles?! Not sure if these can sound the alarms but have noticed they say security tag....hope this helps!!
