New Outfit Post - Lace & Leopard Print

Today I'm breaking out a new top that I was sent from House of Fraser.  As you will see from the picture below it's a gorgeous shade of red (also available in off white & yellow) & has the most lovely embroidered lace detailing with capped sleeves & a keyhole button fastening at the back.

Before I show you how I've styled it I thought I'd share with you a couple of close up pictures so you can see the beautiful detailing.

I've decided to dress the top up a bit today (although it could so easily be teamed with jeans & a pair of sandals) & have teamed the top with a pair of cigarette length black slim fit trousers, my Office lace up pointed flats & a touch of Bet to add some contrast to the colours & pattern clash with the lace detailing.

I seem to be wearing a lot of red at the moment, something I'm blaming on a very special & lovely friend who always looks stunning in red & has made me want to incorporate some more of the colour into my wardrobe.

Hope everyone has a fab start to the week.

    1. Hi & thank you :-)
From a sizing point of view I ordered my normal size so yes it's true to size & it's a total bargain isn't it, at £10.50 it would almost be rude not to ;-)

    1. Thanks Jane, sometimes it's about finding the right shade of red as I know some more orange based reds suit some whilst a more blue based red will suit other colourings.

  5. I tend to shy away from colour as you know Jane ;0) but after recently customizing a red top I realised how much I love the colour! After seeing you wearing lots of red too recently I feel inspired to acquire a bit more! Gorgeous top, superbly styled as always! x

  6. Ever so nice. Those flats work brilliantly in this outfit. Good idea to bring in a pattern with the bag. I never remember to do such simple things to uplift an outfit from normal to interesting.
