The Fab 40s Do Fringing!

Morning ladies, I can't believe it's already time for another Fab 40's post.  I know I say this alot but time really does seem to be flying by at a rate of knots - whoever said times speeds up the older you get wasn't joking!!

Anyway back to today's post & for this month's theme it was Ann's turn to choose the theme & our guest blogger.  Ann choose the theme of fringing, something that seems to be having a bit of a revival at the moment with many a boot & bag, especially of the suede variety.

Now I must admit I don't actually have anything that I would class as full on fringing hanging in my wardrobe so cue many an hour spent desperately trying to come up with something that would fit with today's post.

Having decided not to buy into the theme (for now!) & purchase anything new *cue polishing of halo* ;-0 I've decided to cheat a little this month.  So what have I chosen?!  Well first off my fringe (yes I know that's scraping the depths of the barrel but needs must!) & also I'm hoping the ladies will let my frayed edge scarf class (very loosely of course) as fringing (ladies I promise next month I will try harder!).

  2. Jane, your fringe makes me want to cut a fringe again....so cute! And, I must confess...this fringe clutch that spurred on Ann to suggest fringe is the ONLY item of fringe clothing I have....I'd have been hard up to wear anything else. Thanks for being a good sport. Love your look. Thanks for having me along this month.

  5. You're totally fringing! Love it!! And, to be honest, I know call a fringe--the cut hair kind covering a forehead--a fringe. I hate the American word for it, and since I've been overseas for over 18 years now, I too call it a fringe. Such a cool way of calling a hair do!

Always so urban chic Jane. Love it!!

  7. I think it's great that you didn't go out and buy some thing for the sake of the theme - love your scarf and it goes to show you can interpret a style as you wish :)
