Whoop whoop it's my favourite day of the week already :-)
So before we get onto today's outfit I may have just caved with the 20% off at Boden but seeing as I had a voucher burning a hole in my pocket the offer was just too tempting to ignore & I now have the following items winging their way to me.
First up these stunning glitter slip-ons. Having been lucky enough last season for Boden to send me the leopard print version I just know how comfy & useful these are. So needless to say as soon as I spotted this season's glitter ones I've just had to order them to give them a try. I think they're going to be perfect for teaming with a simple pair of jeans & classic white shirt.
Back to today & I thought I'd celebrate my favourite day of the week in Bet-tastic fashion & dig out my old Zara leopard print trousers. I'm keeping the look pretty simple with classic quilted ballet pumps & a cross over black top so hopefully it's not too Bet Lynch...I thought I've give the beehive & chandelier earrings a miss today ;-)

Now I was torn between the glitter slip-ons & these high top trainers. I'm thinking these would be perfect for teaming with boyfriend jeans & a grey blazer finished off with a blanket scarf come the cooler months plus of course warm ankles - what's not to love?! So naturally I've had to 'click the button' ;-)
If you're anything like me you'll treat yourself to a new pair of slippers come autumn & as soon as I spotted these velvet ones with pompoms......well, need I say anymore?! ;-) I just know these babies are going to put a smile on my face every time I wear them.
I've already featured this leopard print pouch on the blog & immediately spotted it at their press day. So seeing as the make up bag I keep in my handbag has suddenly developed a hole this will be the most perfect replacement.
And finally being a lover of stripes not to mention a breton I just had to order this top to try. It looks a more boxy & looser fit to Boden's classic breton & has a more casual style with the drop shoulders so I'm keen to give this a whirl as I think the fabric looks thicker too.

I ordered the leopard slip on Boden trainers in the sale and couldn't wait for them to arrive! Unfortunately, when I put them on they were too short in the length, but also really baggy at the heel so there seemed no point in sizing up. I was devastated!! How do you find the sizing?
ReplyDeleteHi Joanne, I've never had a problem with the sizing on the shoewear. I go for a 40 as I'm generally a 6.5 UK size & have quite wide feet but narrow backs of ankles & my slip ons have never slipped. May be worth another try....perhaps you were just unlucky?!
