WIWT - A New Knitted Jacket

Whoop whoop it's Friday :-)  I just love that Friday feeling & getting the last run of the week out of the way ready for wine o'clock ;-)

Today I'm breaking out one of my holiday purchases, this lovely knitted jacket.  As soon as I saw it, it was love at first sight & was just a question of which colour - the grey with silver thread or black & blue mix but as you can see the grey one won.  It's such a lovely classic & instantly put me in mind of a Chanel jacket (which funnily enough the shop assistant also mentioned at the till).

Off into Birmingham today for a couple of meetings & then marking the end of my son's first working week with an after work cocktail & nibbles - a ritual we plan to start doing at least once a month.  What's scary is I can remember meeting my mum during my lunch break when I started my first job & now can't believe I'm doing the same but in the 'mum' role for my son!

    Love that jacket Jane, it's certainly got that Chanel look! Isn't it amazing when suddenly our little people are big, and we are doing very grown up things with them....Enjoy your cocktails together!
